Gas Mileage Math Anyone?

Alright kids let's do some math shall we?

You're average

car has a 15 gallon gas tank and gets around 20 miles a

gallon.

20 x 15 = 300

Right now the

average gallon of gas is at $4.00

$4 x 15 =

$60

$60 to go 300

miles.

My moped get's 100 mpg, and has a 1

gallon fuel tank.

To get the same result of 300 miles, like a car I

would fill 3 times, and spend

$12

Amount of money for 300 miles for average auto:

$60 for 5 passengers

Amount of money for 300 miles for average moped:

$12 for 1 passenger

For an accurate comparison, $12 x 5 = $60.

Same price, go figure. Except that I drive a WRX so cool factor is also a million times higher. I'd take my car, personally.

same here man, i love my truck and i will always have a truck for the rest of my driving life. sure its a little more expensive, but with what i use my truck for, no other car can suffice.

It really only works if you drive alone alot, like i do to work and class. I drive like 100 miles a week or so, so instead of 20-30 bucks in gas with my car, im spending 4 dollars with my moped. Should save me a nice amount of money.
