Gas hits $6 a gallon

yeah those were the days, i remember the double digit gas prices.

there are some places in europe that have been paying this much and more for decades. a teacher of mine lived in finland for a few years in the late seventies and it was 7/gallon (usd) while he was there.

sucks for all of us, we're just joining the party late. the glory days of cheap gas are over, buy a bus pass. and i recommend stocking up on groceries cause they're about to skyrocket. inflation sucks.

the reason is because the start of the main pipeline for the east coast just happens to be in Mississippi. So as soon as katrina is cleaned up, it should drop back down.
