Fire On The Mountain
in Dover, NH
is proud to present a dual premiere of “Weight”
by Stept Productions and “One For
The Road” by Teton Gravity Research. Two cutting edge films that showcase
progressive skiing and the young, dynamic skiers that push the envelope in
front of the camera.
This dual premiere is even more exciting as it also will be
the Fall fundraiser for the Garrison Hill
Park Revitalization Project. Garrison Hill
is a 55 acre hidden gem of park located in downtown Dover, NH.
The park has been the site of many outdoor activities over the years and has
been used as a ski hill since the 1940’s. At one time there was a ski jump and
even a rope tow in use there. Time has taken it’s toll on Garrison Hill but a
new movement has started to “bring back” and restore this area to a 4 season
year round recreation park for the citizens of Dover
and all Seacoast NH residents.
Current plans are to clean up existing trails, add new
trails, bring back an operational rope tow, add a perimeter XC ski trail and
construct and maintain a permanent
terrain park. Adding a snow making system is also being considered. This is
a rare opportunity to have a winter sports park in your own background that
will introduce kids of all ages to the great sport of skiing and snowboarding
and allow them to participate at an affordable cost.

and sponsored athlete of The North Face will be on hand at the movie to talk
about his latest film and meet and greet all the young skiers in attendance.

Fire On The Mountain has partnered with Stept Productions,
TGR, The North Face, Swix Sport and the City of Dover to put on this event.
