Garret Rowley holds the switch up record

thats crazy...if hes having fun with a million sw ups thats cool...im nto too down with all those sw ups....but thats crazy none the less

my record is 270 on, quintuple, 270 out. but that was the long Northstar flatbox. anybody could do it.

if Sammy and Tommy could only get 5 on a 75 ft box, then rest assured, it must've been a tough box or something, cause tommy and Sammy own everyone.

Switching up like crazy looks beat. Im impressed that such a feat can be accomplished...but what's the point. Take a page from snowboarding; looking smooth and stlylie on the rail is wayy more important than spinning around a bunch. Case and point: long and smooth FS boardslides, cant be beat.

can you even do a switchup??? im not hating on you its just that everytime i saw you at hyland you never switch up or even spun off of a rail...dont hate on some kid who is having fun on a box

why does there even have to be a point to it???? who gives a flying fuck??? its not like the kid was going all out and wouldnt be satisfied to get the trick...shit if i could do that to say i beat sammys record i sure as hell would...all this it looks like garbage shit, you guys are tools, they were having fun at camp. im sure that everybody there was way stoked on this kid for doing it and didnt go up to him and tell him that it looked like shit. no one who is hating on him in this thread would say any of that shit to his face

no kidding... it kinda reminds of those kids who rent snowblades for the first time and spin down the bunny hill all day.

thats not that cool unless he spun onto it in the first place, then its cool, even then its still not cool, mini tom did 4 switch ups on HNs 20foot box, so im guessing he woulda slayed that record if you did 7 on a 65 foot box

I think the point that everyone is trying to get at here is that its cool that the kid can do seven switchups--and if i could do seven switchups too i might try, just for the hell of it--but its not enough to be claiming any records.

i guarentee sammy could slay your boy on that box if he really wanted to, and what im sayin is anyone with decent skiing abilities can hop around on a box, its not hard.

hey dumbass, just casue people can do a trick someone else can do doesnt mean they're better than them. i can do kangs, so can mike nick, doesnt mean im better than him.

i think thats sweet that he can do that....all props to him....although i dont think it looks too good compared to just greesing the box w/ 1 or 2 sw ups but i wont sit here and bash him for doin it...cuz im sure he was havin fun and thats all that mattters.

Guys, I'm truly sorry I started this thread i didn't want to start controversey and all this shit or anything. just to clarify im sure sammy or tommy or someone could get 7, I'm just saying he has the record AT windells ON that specific box. I thought it was crazy that he could keep his balance through 7 switch ups on a box that was only about 5-6 inches wide and stuff. so yea garrett is sick and slays rails

WHOA WHOA WHOA. i didnt know who this kid was. my boy k scho clarified. garret rowley is legit. kid was killin it all week just rollin through the pub park when i was there. just wanted to clear up any confusion, hes def legit.

seriosly don't be hating on this kid.

hes 15. and has sooo much steeze. i saw him in hood and rode with his older bro a little bit. the kid slays it. he might be getting on saga and salomon is what i've heard also

umm no ive done 8 sw on the huge box at grom at mount snow hence i was only going about 0.5miles and hour and prob after the 5sw i dont think i went a whole 180

Ya Im gunna go ahead and be the odd man out and say good job Garret. It sounds like your having fun at Windells. Good for you.

spinning on rails built your career homie, i hope your being sarcastic. lets bring in 450s for 2010, but remember spinning alot is gay. what?

i love how some of the best rail skiers commented on this before they blow up. e.x. twall, andy, and will.

this shits hilarious!!!
