how do you get the balls up to try gapping all or even just part of a rail...i got like a 4 foot high trap rail, and i want to gap to the top but im scared of eating shit really hardcore...any advice?
just get speed and then pop a little, its not relaly nessacry to think about popping. The main thing is to keep yourself ocmposed, if you dont have enough speed, you will ismply land on the flat of the trap and if youare not flailing and shit you will either ride the ret of the rail clean or just slip off the side. first slide it normal, then when you go for it, you dont even need to go that much faster, just pop a little harder. youll land wherever you want to land because you can also control when you touch down on the rail by lifting or dropping your feet

if you mean gapping over rails, then just head into it with like double the speed and make sure you know how to ollie.... as soon as you get over the rail your golden... i personally dont like anything over a 180 over rails, but if you want to toss a 3 or a 5, just make sure you've got the pop and the speed.. spot the rail, then the landing
If I'm gettin worried about something like that, I try to make myself super duper pissed off, not at anything in particular, just straight up pissed off. Then if you do fall, it tends to hurt less.
just dont stand at the top waiting and thinking of everything that can go wrong. Stand there for 3 seconds, go over in your mind what you need to do to not eat shit and die, then just do it.
Just picture it in your head, then do it. Let your body take over, bend your knees so that you can control when you hit the rail, then all you have to do is extend. Good luck bro.
most important part is visualization, when im clicking in or riding up the lift i go through my run about a 100 times. I think about my body position where im going to pop, everything. And when you go to dorp in youll feel like youve done it before. And you cant psyche youself out, if you think about it for 15 minutes youre going to worry too much about getting hurt than greasing the rail.
