Gaper Weekend - Sugarloaf - April 6-7th

Alright guys, stemming from the thread in SG, here's the official lets organize something stupid wild and crazy for gaper weekend. This is the quote from the other thread:

"Sugarloaf, (April 6th and 7th), gaper day weekend. Lets get a squad going, anyone called out has to ski with the group for the rest of the day. Wear your most gaper and retro outfits and prepare to make lots of questionable decisions."

So basically, even if you dont want to participate, if you get called out, you join in. We'll do trains that rival the VT Open and blast music at obnoxious levels

 
fuck i really would like to make the trip but coming from CT is a hike and i wouldn't have money for a hotel after gas/lift ticket...decisions decisions

I'll probably be at Sunday River that weekend, and may be able to drive the extra hour for the day to Loaf one day.

Is Hay Wire still looking prime? It would be a fun time.
 
So whats the deal on this? we going gaper saturday and sunday? or is this being focused on one day for maximum gaperness?

Nah, we should make a whole weekend out of this if people are down. if not, what day works best?
 
Im down to make a weekend out of it. Change up the outfit for the second day to avoid being recognized for the unspeakable things you did the day before.
 
UMSSC will be up there on Sunday rather than Saturday cuz we couldnt get a bus...Ill try and get a bunch of people to gape out

Depending if i get laid off or not by then ill probably be there. Mosy likely will be pitching a tent somewhere in the area as lodging.

I only went Friday.. I'll be there Sat+Sun this weekend because I have a dodgeball tournament on Friday :/
 
I just was made aware I won't be getting a second cast, just a brace. Therefore the doctor won't let me ride at all this season so I won't be attending:/
 
Looks like cold and windy saturday, and then rainy sunday. Fucking typical sugarloaf weather.

Should we postpone until next weekend (reggae)? or still do it? They moved the pond skimming to the base area for saturday
 
We can still dick around, but i agree i'd rather do it in sunshine.

fuck, yeah it is. That's a good point, i'd hate to fuck people over but I'd love to do it on a spring day, it's so much more fun then
 
yeah same. The thing is, i feel like a ton of people arent gonna see or read this and a bunch of people are gonna still be dressed in gaper/retro attire this weekend. If people still wanna dress up thats sick but why dont we get a gaper squad going for reggae too
 
Yo Jamie,Does Sugarloaf actually like schedule a weekend for gaper day or is it just like a "do it when you wanna do it" type of thing?
 
nah, it's organized by whoever wants to get rowdy. I mean really gaper day is april 1st but that was a monday and nobody was skiing.

fuck i need to find something to wear now
 
BOTH WEEKENDS!!! WOOOHOOO!! im not going to be there reggae so im pumped for this weekend no matter the weather.
 
Tomorrow it's supposed to be "Mostly sunny, high of 32 with winds at 15 50 25mph."

Sunday there's a 30% chance of a wintery mix

Looks like the gaping will have to wait until next weekend anyway....
 
I apologize for slacking yesterday, it was too damn cold and all my gaper stuff lacks warmth. Taking it easy today, but next weekend, prepare yourselves...
 
Looks like it'll be warm and sunny this weekend. I was planning on spending the weekend there but I'm going to Vermont on Sunday.

I'll be there on Saturday, I've never experienced reggae fest before.
