Gaper skis straight into trees in Breck park

Think about how much it would suck after he was already in the air and saw that he was trucking right into 5 fucking trees. He puts his hands up like it will do anything to stop a 500+ lb sled and his own weight.

I keep running into this vid, see how he landed and spun out of control and think to myself...

TURN!!!

For god sakes, just lean into your boots, turn your skis to the left and you wont become a tree taco. Simple as that.

Kid needs to take a ski lesson or something.

That kid defined the term gaper. Side jumping, doesn't know how to go switch, straight rail, no jumps, a gopro on the helmet and a tree in the legs.. All this in a great park, WOW!

It says in the vid description that he broke several ribbs. I know he won't side jump anymore ! He deserved this crash!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHA the first scream was hilarious

I dunno man. It looked like he caught his right ski on a tree and just wipped him around and hit his back on a different tree. Still breck should be using park passes

over time gapers like this ruin our lips, clog up our park lifts, and just are generally confused and in the wrong park. they should stay on groomers or the baby park. also i wish resort would make a park with just lips for rails, but no rails. just for gapers hahaha

seems appropriate

80% of the responses in this thread.....are exactly the reason why I no longer bother with the park. I'm fully capable. It's just no longer fun. A bunch of self glorified D-bags who think they're the greatest thing since sliced bread because they can slide a rail. I'll admit that this kid obviously had zero clue of park etiquette but "he deserved it"? Really? At least the kid was tryin. Also making fun of his reaction after crashing shows considerable inexperience or dumb luck. Have you ever been in a state of shock? You act like a fuckin retard. Your body goes into panic mode and you start screaming shit like "I broke my ankles!" or in this case, "call an ambulance!". This community would be so much better if it didn't run on blind hate and was more of a brotherhood. Set people up for success and encourage peo

Damn mobile. Anyway, encourage people to try new things and explain park etiquette. Resorts making kids watch a bid or something to get a park pass works. To the dude who said something about paying for a park pass....are you serious? Never say that again. Ok. Let the karma rape begin cause I didn't make fun of the kid.

Why is everyone such a douche?

Don't be happy that he got hurt. That is just mean. "ohhh, he's destroying the lip of the on-jump." Boo-hoo, he's destroying the lip of the on-jump. He paid for a pass, he can use the mountain and its terrain however he pleases to. Also, as if it fucks up the lip so bad. Most of the time they jump of the SIDE of the jump, hence the name "side-jumping". And most of the time, we don't use the SIDE of the jump to enter onto the rail (with the exception of handrails). Point being, side-jumping really 80% of the time won't affect your ability to enter a rail.

With that said, the kid should not have been in the park. He clearly cannot ski, and therefore should not be using a terrain park. He cannot turn and stay in the front seat, so he really has no reason to be anywhere but the bunny-slopes. Regardless, he paid for a pass, so he can use the mountain and it's features how he would like.

And whoever isn't sorry that the kid got hurt is just an asshole. It's one thing to think he is an idiot, but it's another to wish him to be hurt. And the fall did look like his leg got caught bad on a tree; I think it looked really painful. It's just plain mean to not be upset when someone gets hurt. We all ski to have fun, not to be mean to people of a lesser ability. He shouldn't have been in a park, and he was; that was his mistake. But he still got hurt, so there is no reason to be mean about it.

Forgot to say: He paid for a pass, he can use the terrain of the mountain however he pleases to as long as he abides by the rules of the mountain. Rules usually say don't ski dangerously. This isn't dangerous to anyone else. I never saw him cut someone off in the video. Now, if Breck has rules that say "NO SIDE JUMPING", then that is I different scenario. I do not know for a fact if that is in their rules or not.

saw this on your facebook the other day, you never dissapoint, had me laughing for a good few minutes.
