While I agree that we should just give him a break because he is fairly young. Any kids hitting lips for rails as jumps does annoy me a lot.
 
I'm all for kids having fun around the mountain and in the park, but I think its really important to learn how to ski the piste properly before moving onto park. Idk, but judging from that video the kid can't even carve, something that everyone trying to learn more advanced tricks should learn to do. I also think that before hitting stuff in the park you should learn by observing/asking. I know that if some 10 year old kid came up to me asking me for advice on park etiquette, I would be more than stoked to help him out.

Fuck the haters, this shits so funny. Yes the kids a 10 year old having fun and you have to support them and whatnot but holyshit, from the skiing to the editing to the music, I know every thought that went through his head and I'm loling

And its kids like you who support terrible park ethic for zero reason at all aside from seeming like a 100% positive, 100% all the time, sweet nice guy... what are you and the other chodes in this thread making up for? We should hate on gapers in the park because its dangerous and they ruin features with the stupid crap they do.

But really he wasn't "supporting terrible park ethic", he was just laughing at an edit with hardcore dub step and the kid didn't get more than a foot of air. Thats pretty funny no matter who you are. That's not rude it's just funny. We all know we start somewhere and some of us used to be that kid but in no way are we "supporting Terribble park ethic"

Last year I could only do tricks on jumps and was scared to slide rails and only went sideways on boxes. I went off the lips leading up to rails constantly.This year I can hit any rail at my park along with spin on most and throw inverts and spins off medim size jumps. The reason I progressd so fast is because I had friends better then me convincing me to do better. I had a lot of fun last year in fact it was probably the greatist winter I will have. Was I doing bad tricks and being a gapper? yes. Everyone has to start somewhere bro I know the first year u hit the park u weren't pro. I bet if he keeps it up he will be really good in years to come.
 
As much as I hate kids using lips as jumps, we all have to start somewhere and not everyone is gonna be throwing a 3 their first time off a jump in the park, especially if your mountain doesn't have a beginner park.

There is one of the cheesy posters in my English class that says "Every Expert was once a Beginne," and everytime I see that I think that at one time Tom Wallisch was clicking into his first skis and had no idea what he was doing, but now he slays. Maybe in the future that kid is gonna be better than you and he could teach you but instead you trolled him.
 
ya know, although I laughed a lot and he was in fact very very bad, everyone has to start somewhere and I remember the days where I'd go through the park and not hit rails and only do lips so. No hate.
 
I enjoy edits like this of young kids fucking around its cool to see someone stoked and having fun for a few seconds especially when there are some dank spills.

Hopefully the skiier who made it finds this thread and sees most people are giving him props and not hating.
 
Hey that's some good editing skills! And for the skiing, yeah it was amusing because it was so bad. But i used to the exact same thing with the iron cross, then i progressed. Keep up the work kid

Terribble park ethics and etikit is cool if noone gets hurt and it merely leads to butthurt of poser park rats who spend their time standing around and not shredding. Sometimes bad behavior has good consequences its not gapers who are the most guilty of douching parks up is it?
