OK... what is up with this... all of these white guys being all gansta in shit like cr saying how he is representin his squaw valley possey. I am not saying these guys, tanner, cr, etc are bad skiers cuz they are obvioulsy very good but i don't get it i mean they are not from the ghetto they are not black so why do they do it. I just think people like jon and candide have so much better style and look so much better then this whole gangsta act.

 
just to clear this up... i am not black but i just want some answers why these pros are doing this... i mean what is up with the bandanna??? Candide knows what style is... clean and extremely smooth...

ds91260... i wasn't being racist... i agree that people should ski down dressing in whatever the hell they want but I just think you should ski for yourself and not try to be someone your not because lets face it if you grew up in squaw valley you should be proud of that but not try to impose the impression that you are from the ghetto and are not who you were brought up as.

i saw some guy skiing in some purple business suit??!!...anyway i think they can dress the way they want to..plus bein gangsta and actin gangsta are two different things...i think skiers can dress hip hpop (baggy pants ans shit) but they shouldn't try to represent a gang with rags and shit...unless they're in a crew that all skis and does shit together...that's cool.

first of all tanner hall grew up in kallispel where there is no crime and no parties, and more or less no fun. the mountian he grew up on is really not that tight, and there is no such thing as a ghetto in montana. also the only white person who can even come close to offering a suitable excuse is Evan Raps becuase he at least grew up in NY and has been 'ghetto' for a long time.

I thikn that whatever style you have should be who you ARE, IF you're fom the ghetto, dress like it. If you grew up in a rich white family that never had a struggle in their life,then dont try to act like you had it rough, represent for who you are.
