Anyone who thinks Ghandi is retarded is stupid. His method was Civil Disobidience and it has been one of the only protest methods to actully work. It got the blacks civil rights, india freed, labor workers paid better...and the whole point of Civil Disobidience is to accept your punishment. Ghandi is brilliant, and i definetly agree with his non-violent approach. I did a research paper about his peaceful revolution last year.

The Dandhi Salt march was a great idea, and going by the scene in the movie, when the police come to the salt mines and the Indians lione up and take their blows, and the women come to their aid - and it jst keeps going and going...that was an amazing scene, and also the Amritsar Massacre scene was really messed up

i saw the movie gandhi and it was great. that guy really was amazing. his whole philosophy was excellent, and the best part was that nobody believed him in the begininng and then he proved them all wrong. the salt march was some crazy shit too, very brave men those indians, mad power to em.
