Gaming on a Mac no longer sucks

no CS:S yet though. :( they'll probably release for Macs once the upgrade beta is finished
 
I fail at making clicky...
clicking the big red button on that site downloads steam, then you can try to download portal. so many people are trying at once though so its is very slow

i downloaded steam. but once in steam when i click on portal it shows me that message^^^
 
Damn, the servers for download Portal are too busy. It keeps telling me to wait a few minutes. I CAN'T WAIT ANY LONGER!!!!!!!
 
I change my mind. Maybe next wednesday gaming on a mac won't suck when they release CS:S. or MW2. Right in time for finals week
 
Most of the reason mac gaming is inferior to PC is because apple wasn't offering much support in terms of development and distribution, but now that it has valve behind it its going to make some steps forward.
I agree that it will probably always be inferior to PC gaming, but it is closing the margin.

a 5 digit? meaning i downloaded steam as the 75,521st person. back in 2000.
