Game of Thrones Season 6 Thread

Was it just me or was anyone else bored of the episode? Like yea, the white walkers are interesting, but I don't care for Bran, like seriously, we get it, lets get to the damn dragons.

I will give credit to the ending. Hodor you magnificent bastard.

Oh you know nothing

That was probably the most intense, most revealing and most entertaining episodes to date. Dude you just got told so much about the universe where the story happens and you didn't care?

I mean, the birth of the others, the fate of bran and the revealing of Hodor made me question everything about the series. And I`m telling you this as a book reader.

Ok, Obviously the White Walkers were magically imbued by some jive or another, I still don't know wtf those lizards were tbh, but shoot, it was cool to see fireballs. The fate of Bran is still up in the air, like home girl couldn't have gotten far with a sled full of dead weight with a walker army chasing them. Like Shit, I bet she's never doe leg day, She probably got right over that hill and gave up.

I can clearly see why they have a "mother of dragons" we need someone that is the exact opposite of the white walkers. Fire vs. Ice ... this should be a good showdown.

They didn't even get that far away tbh, hodor pretty much died for nothing. The white walkers could easily jusr run after them

Its snowing out. There's no way they would survive in such a storm with so little on.

Thats why the theory that Jon is a Targaryan is crazy. He would have dragons blood etc. I think somebody posted a link to a theory that really has me messed up lol

The Bran flashbacks are pretty cool. Dunno how he fits into the whole story arc...I wouldn't mind if they decided to kill off his character.

Fuck yea cold hands. Glad they finally added him. Hopefully they bring in more characters from the books that they haven't added to the show yet because lets be honest, the plot lines that are deviating from where they are in the books are starting to feel pretty corny and lacking that raw, dark feel that is what makes this series so great.

Fucking Benjen, always had a feeling he'd make an appearance at some point. Good setup episode, next Sunday should be gooood.

This could be a major SPOILER but people think that those scenes were supposed to be flashes from the future, well at least the ones with the big green explosion, the others one were the moment when jaime lannister killed the mad king

the mad king has to go mad because of a Bran "flashback." Like I think Bran is gonna go back in time (while near a white walker vs. human battle in the present, possilbly Daenarys and her dragons) to where the Mad King was before he went "mad." Then present Bran will hear the humans saying "Burn them all!" and the Mad King will hear that through Bran while Bran is still "flashing back." Then the Mad King will pull a Hodor, and start obsessing over what he heard in the time clusterfuck thing. Then the time loop will carry on similar to how the Hodor incident went down. Even if that's too far off, the army of the dead and the white walkers are gonna get fucked by wildfire and Daenarys' dragons.

Also, Sam is a badass mafk for stealing his asshole dad's sword

My bet is with the whole Walder Frey capturing Edmure, Lady Stoneheart will make an appearance and start wreaking havoc.

Also is Euron planning to give Dany her 1000 ships? Yes. Will she marry him? Meh. I think she wants to stay at the tip top of the food chain, behind only her dragons that is.

Seeing Cold Hands/Benjen Stark was such a big moment for me. And for everyone saying that Bran should just get killed well I'm pretty sure he will start playing a massive role somehow. Like either the whole driving the mad king insane theory or revealing Jon's mother to be Lyanna or something completely off in left field. He has been built up since book/episode 1 and there is no way that after the entire three eyed Raven plot line Bran just dies and we are done with him.

LADY STONEHEART APPEARANCE SOON WITH THE BROTHERHOOD WITHOUT BANNERS WOOP WOOP GET HYPEEEEEEEE

finally some full scenes with dragon action, i suddenly like the meereen plot.

following jon through the bastardbowl was some of the tightest fighting i've ever seen.

the finale should be interesting, hoping for some bran-time-travel sweetness and sandor rampage

Anyone else feel super uncomfortable when Jon was almost suffocating? That whole scene was done so well.

This episode really showed the horror of medieval war.

Yeah that formation at the end was rutheless...completely forgot about the Tully army. And the horses colliding when it first started...incredible. Episode 10 will be amazing im sure, im expecting a cliffhanger.

pretty sure it was the arryn army from the vale, not the tullys.

Anyone expecting a mountain vs the hound fight for the season finally?

If Tommen hadn't ruled that trial by combat be abolished then I would say yes but sadly I don't think it'll happen this season.

that fight scene was so fucking good.

It was like one of the most intense fights scenes in film history. it was so hectic and fucking gave you the sense of just how chaotic it was. The arrows flying by and people constantly dying... fucking wow

Can we also talk about how good the CGI for the dragons is? Pretty sure GoT is the only tv show even

grasping at movie quality CGI, every other time a tv show tries to do something like that it looks like stuff from a crappy syfy film.

Well that episode was better then the botched abortion the rest of this season has been

Could we make the battle any more cliche? Probably fucking not. Everything in it was predictable. Jon snow pulls a Leroy Fucking Jenkins and gets 2/3 of his dudes killed. Wun Wun somehow forgets to pick up a tree to use as a fucking club and is next to useless for the battle. Sansa uses her brains to go link up with Littlefinger's fresh Rohan knights who show up at the last moment to save Gondor, I mean Jon Snow. Shit, seen this movie before.

As for Danny and her dumb dragons, really? You're gonna sit there and talk it out while your city is being sacked? Really? Then you're not just gonna go ape shit on the fleet but fly around for a minute first, cause we got some CGI money to burn or something? Also you would have thought that everyone would have seen the dragon when it dropped her off at the top of the pyramid the night before.

Sansa is so fucking hot right now.

Sexual tension between dragon tits and pirate hooker was pretty cool too.

She needs the ships! At the end of the scene you hear Tyrion say that even with the master's fleet along with the Greyjoys they have barely enough to sail on Westeros. Also that was the first time she was able to control all 3 dragons at once so it was a pretty significant scene

That and illustrating the power a dragon can have. Imagine Daenerys spraying the undead army.
