Game of Thrones - Season 3

pretty fucking stoked. hopefully this is better than the walking dead finale was. trying to watch the premier on hbogo right now, but it's being pretty ghey.

wow, can't believe people get more hyped of the walking dead than game of thrones.

i like TWD, but GoT is on a whole other level.

Was so sick. Friend held a GoT party and his mom made all year Themed foods, themed drinks etc. it was awesome. Watched in his theatre room.

These were cake pops called 'Neds Heads'

Wish they would just play all the episodes at once.

a lot more people have access to amc whereas hbo is an extra cost

85% of tv i watch is hbo, if I could get that and some sports channels I would be fine

question for anyone who watched it last night; Khaleesi gave away one of those dragons for her army, but in the previous episode when her dragons were taken from her that warlock guy said the dragons are strongest in her presence, anyone think that means she'll try to take it back?

don't ask questions you don't want the answers to. Remember, a lot of us have read the books and can spoil the entire series for you and others.

If you actually want to know what Daenerys is up to, read the books or wait patiently. You can't expect us to just blurt out big spoilers like that, do you?

really? have you never sat there and wondered at the end of an episode? and i never asked you to tell me, i asked what other people thought. nice try though

I think he was addressing the fact that you asked what other people thought, considering many of us actually know what will happen.

Its interesting for me cause this is the first time I've watched the season after reading the books. I hadn't read the books before the last 2 and I have to say I kind of like knowing whats gonna go down but seeing how the show will portray it

That's funny, I'm sort of exactly the opposite. I read the books right after season 2 started, and I have been feeling like the show has been kind of anti-climatic, particularly this season.

Also, being several little narrative arcs down the road, I'm almost disoriented in terms of what has and hasn't happened at this point of the show.

someone remind me what happened to podrick? i dont even remember him being in the last episode

Tyrion thanked him for his services by setting him up with some ladies at the brothel, but when pimpstar podrick was done with them they wouldn't take his money because he was SO DAMN GOOD

Since Pod killed Ser Mandon Moore as he was about to murder Tyrion at the Battle of the Blackwater, Tyrion rewarded Podrick with a good amount of gold to use at Littlefinger's brothel with three women Tyrion had picked out. Pod returns to Tyrion and Bronn some time afterwards and gives the gold back to Tyrion. The whores apparently enjoyed young Podrick so much they didnt even accept his gold, which says something that I feel has still yet to be said.

Real power play by Danaerys at the end there. If she doesn't win the game it'll just be too unrealistic to be any good. Of everyone vying for the iron throne she is by far the most capable/talented leader

hopefully grrm doesn't fucking die before he gets that far with the books. last i heard, at least two more books to come and the way that dude writes, it'll be 2020 before the last one is pub'd.

Yeah, that would really suck. But, if it happens, lets just cut to the part where Daenerys and Jon Snow team up, unite the dragons and the whitewalkers, take over Westeros in less than a day, then get killed when the dragons and whitewalkers turn on them. Or, at least, that's what I think is going to happen

jsut watched episode 7! holy moly it was amazing!!!! kinda a shit ending though but the scene before the ending MAGICAL, discuss ( if you have read the books dont spoil this for everyone please

crazy fucking scene when they were climbing the wall. The episode wasn't nearly as exciting as the previous two episodes but definitely leading up to some crazy shit.

I was reading an article in Digital Video about the production, and they dropped non-spoiler spoiler alerts about the season finale and lighting the climax scene.. it's going to be so fucking solid. Such a brutal scene in the book and by the sound of it, they're going to do it justice and then some.

Littlefinger found out she was spying for Varys, so he gave her to Joffrey to do what he wanted. Being the sadistic fuck he is, he shot her multiple times with his crossbow. Basically, they're playing up Joffreys sadistic side and Littlefingers cunningness.

anyone watched this new show called Vikings? it's pretty good. although, it's a lot different than GoT

good episode tonight. it's interesting to see how the show mirrors the books in some aspects, but adds/changes other aspects of the story line.

there's only 3 more episodes this season, correct? i don't understand how they're going to wrap this all up in three more shows. i feel like they're going to have to leave out a lot of the story. they could have turned the third book/season in to 20 shows...at least.
