Gallon of beer taps

shit true that if you fill a gallon of beer taps you can take it to the aluminum plant and make between $50-80. shit seems to be the rumor going around and I was just wondering if anyone has done it?

do you mean tabs? the thing that prys open a can? A tap is what pumps the beer from a keg.

i couldnt see why you would fill a gallon with taps and take it to an aluminum plant,

and to answer your question, yes the tabs are pure aluminum and a years worth (1 gallon) is worth about 50 dollars, which if you add up the time spent prying thousands of tabs off of beer / cola cans would probably add up to about .000010028 cents an hour. so unless you are a homeless hobo looking for a buck, stay in school, beer tabs aren't gonna get you rich.
