Gaining Weight?

I'm 5"8 135 pounds. Wondering what healthy and nutritious foods/meals you all eat on a regular basis. When I go shopping I try to find healthy foods like eggs, chicken, tuna, lean beef ect. Just wondering if any NSers have any tips/meals that they suggest to pack on some pounds

Sounds to me like you're in a perfectly fine BMI range. What is the reason for wanting to gain weight? Or is it for working out?

Enjoy it while you can lol. In terms of gaining weight food plays a role but the type of workouts play a huge role as well. Low reps and high weight are key for building bulk

avoid anything corn.

Eat grass-fed

Watch serving sizes

Focus more on eating for energy vs just eating and doing nothing

Drink a lot of water

Plenty of greens

Pack on that protein and get on a steady workout schedule (over doing it will backfire)

Go to the 'find your fitness plan'http://www.bodybuilding.com/guides/

A few solid nutrition plans to give you an idea of how much you should be eating and some even have calculators to put in your weight and age and itll give you an idea of how much you should be eating.

If youre serious about gaining a lot of weight I have friends who have taken mass gainer supplements (Like powder that you mix into drinks) and they said it's helped.

For me just staying active and going to the gym a lot builds up an apetite.

watch
you have to eat big to get big, whatever you are eating is not enough, eat 2-3 extra meals from what your eating now, and for the love of all things great, hit the gym while you do it or it will all turn to fat

Avocado, broccoli, spinach, lean turkey, skin free chicken, fish, almonds, pretty much any fruit you want and shitloads of water.

Eating these types of food on a regular daily shceme in combination with lifting as often as you can and proper sleep will keep you lean but let you gaiiiiin brah.

You can eat some other stuff aswell, unless it's clearly not healthy, oh and to keep your metabolism and keep you sane you should have a cheat day where you can eat whatever the f you want as long as you keep it in regular sized portions.

I don't got any experience of this, yet. But from what I've read and heard from people it have clearly worked for I would say it's legit.
