it was. for a while there was sound and i heard "SWITCH 1440!!!" somewhere in there and yea he bailed tryin it.
 
i couldn't tell what was going on by the live feed. i can't wait to see what the video looks like when it doesn't lag for 5 seconds at a time.
 
he landed a sw 14 against jon. that 14 was better then the sw 12 octograb. jon's kang was baller too- way better than gagnier. i hate the way this comp is setup, the best three tricks were done by wester, jon, and schiller.
 
There seems to be some confusion about the octograb. was it the one where he goes all sprawled out and grabhs true nose and true tail? or was it the one where he does a mute with the wrong hand, and a tail and tweaks them together?
 
it's cuz the vid's streamed from europe i think. anyway i'm out. can't wait for the real vids! Super-pipe tomorrow!
 
gagnier deserved it u haters, several people spun fast several people did mutes several people did doubles, none did the octo, and forget doing it with a switch 12 taking it lower than anyone else
 
ya he deserved to win JOI he didn't because it was jons comp and there was so much hype about his kangaroo flip that jacob westers double cork 12 got no attention
 
Does anyone has a video of that double cork from wester or somwhere where we could see it. The only double cork I've seen was on the JOI video(and we can't even see the landing) posted on newschoolers like 5 days after the comp
 
i have video of every jump after they went down to 8. ill post it tomorrow. tj roaly fucked his binding up and it was not engageing right i think. he should have won tho. hi 14 this year was wayyyy better than last year. props to sammy to. he was going off!
 
Yea you should totally limit it to 720 so then we can watch everyone do sw rode 7s instead of sw 10s with the odd guy goin for something bigger or new.
 
how many people here or even in the world can do the "octo" grab in a 3 or even in a straight air? ...gagnier is crazy
 
Yeah that sounds pretty sick. i won't decide until i see videos, but it sounds pretty close between chuck and wester. wtf is up w/ sammy though?

and it kinda wins him some comps, where big and air are combined right?

i think the 12 octo deally was pretty tech and pretty cooly.

and since it was a spin or flip comp... whos gonna throw down the double cork 12s first?

And then where do we go? and by we I mean them... cause I can only do triple corks.
