That shit is so overplayed and I hate it most of the time. but I must admit it gets you pumped at the right times on some days. Some days panic fish and g dead are better and some days 50 & young buck are. some days ski movie soundtracks are, you know what I mean.

I was watching mtv and there was a bio on the game. He is talking about his hometown, Compton. He says he still lives there and would never leave the hood. Then later he says that Compton is the worst place to raise a kid and quotes statistics such as if you are a male age 18-24 living there you are something like 75 percent likely to go to prison at some point. He also says he doesn't like bragging about gangbangin, its just something he had to do to get by. That just astounds me, he obviously knows the lifestyle he preaches is wrong and is ruining the lives of poor urban youths. 50 at least admitted he was incredibly glad and relieved when he could quit drug dealing and move out. His life was going nowhere before he made it. I'll admit some mainstream rap songs are catchy and I don't mind occasional harmless songs by jay-z, snoop, lil jon, etc but all this gangsta shit is just machismo bullshit gone out of control. And it's terrible rapping too.
