G pen question

Yo guys so i have really only used oil in my g pen and one of my friends told me that you cant use shatter in them. Is this true? Because i dont want to fuck up my pen trying it. +k to any helpful responses thanks!
 
OP, a few weeks later, how do you like the g pen? I'm looking to buy one and want some opinions first. So many reviews online but you can find positive reviews about any of them. I'm mostly worried about reliability and ease of maintaining it, cleaning it etc. Also, what parts fail the most that would be a good idea to order with it?

Yea you can, might wanna soften it up with a lighter when you put it in but yea it will work and the same with any waxes and BHOs
 
just got a gpen and am using shatter in it. wax works a little better. but they work. makes it taste kinda yucky though its weird. i liked my atmos rx a lot, but it broke :[
 
Don't get a G pen, they're not durable by any means, after a month or so of heavy use, mine was mangled, and wouldn't fit together right, and I eventually ended up yanking the wiring out of it from removing the tank from the charging port.

I'd say go with an Atmos RX, it keeps the taste, and they're rugged as fuck, the only thing you have to worry about is pocket pressing the power button and burning your leg. But as long you keep it in two pieces when you aren't using it, that won't be a problem.

 
I don't think it should matter. I have put shatter in lots of pens and it smokes just fine, all I buy is shatter or wax if its glistening with trichomes and acts like a hard hash. The only thing that doesn't work in the g pen is thick hash that doesn't melt down and buds. Shatter will work just fine since when it is heated it melts down to a liquid state.
 
i knew this was going to be one of two things. Of course it was Xw33dX related but i also thought it might be some sort of vibrating dildo or something given the name.
 
Yea this, i just got the atmos junior and i like it alot better than my g pen. It rips alot harder, tastes better and more durable. And they have a camo colorway now which is dope as fuck.
 
And to answer this, i don't not like the G pen but i definitely think it could be better. Ive had mine for a long time now and havent had a problem with it, but i have read some reviews and talked to my friends and they don't seem to like it. But i recomend buying an extra cartridge just because they can break pretty easily if your not careful with it. And i recently got an Atmos which is alot better in my opinion and i got mine for the same price as the g. Hope i helped
