ohh how wrong. theres the himalaya mountains, this means a lot of snow and ice melts into the rivers in the summer and its on the coast of the arabian sea. so yeh, theres quite a lot of water.
 
theres small small small river, the type that you can walk in it, couple of lakes. its not on the arabian sea i don't know where you got that. Plus i been there so I known what i'm talking about.

I was in the military, and it just makes me sick when I see shit like that(pic) or people talking about shit that they don't know what there talking about. I was in Afghanistan in July 2005 to December 2005(yeah only 4 month tour). That was the last tour in Kabul before we move our main force in the south (Kandahar).
 
Ok lets make something clear, I known more about afghanistan than everybody on this site. Why?? beacause i been there....

Like i'm not going to talk about what Australia look like because i've never been there. I will not write in this thread anymore.
 
silly ignorant goose. there are rivers that go through deserts. thats general region is where civilization started and it started on the banks of rivers.
 
Most rivers in the country become only trickles during the long dry season and have large flows of water only in the spring, when the winter snow in the mountains melts rapidly. Most of the rivers end in lakes, swamps, or salt flats. The country’s only navigable river is the Amu Darya, on the northern border, although ferry boats can cross the deeper areas of other rivers. The Amu Darya receives water from two main tributaries, the Panj and the Vakhsh, which rise in the Pamirs.
