Funny Games: a review

we watched the trailer for it in our media class, new and old version, and it looked fucked up.....and shit
 
Name drop (cause I can): My uncle designed the costumes for the movie. Apparently everyone hates the director and he was a dick to pretty much everyone. Also, the movie is a remake of the very same movie he made 10 years ago. I actually enjoyed it. I thought it was pretty well done and clever and there werent a lot of parts where I thought "well that is just a retarded decision" so that was good. I am generally not super negative about any movies, but I definitely enjoyed it more than I expected
 
Basically it was super boring, and nothing interesting really happened. I predicted most of the noteworthy events. Some reviews say the violence was too much, but there really wasn't much, it was just made to seem worse, sorta, by the good acting. And the acting in it really is good, it's all well made. I really liked the killers, their bickering made me giggle, and the aside parts were kinda cool too. But my reaction at the point where they rewind to have a do-over pretty much summed up my reaction to this movie: groan.
