anyone ever had a fall that would have been hysterical if it just wasnt them?

my friend and i were being stupid and playing tag when we collided, she hit me in the face with her helmet making my nose bleed, i wrapped my arm around her somehow and punched her in the stomach with my pole handle i guess? she ended up crawling with her snowboard still on to puke off the side of the trail. meanwhile i tried to bend my pole back and it kinda just snapped. best part? the lift had stopped above us and everyone was yelling down asking if we were ok/;laughing
 
when i was 5ish i fell under the chair lift and lost both skis both poles and my gloves.

not sure how i still remember, must have been a tramatic experience.
 
Was going to hit a 30' table at our park, right when i hit the lip, my friend jumped off the side and we pretty much collided in mid air....
It was pretty gnarly, still wish i couldve seen a video tape of it.
 
So i was going down one of our runs, fast but in control. This old fuck is carving up the whole run back and forth at 2 whole mph. So I wait for him to turn one way and i go past him and right as i was about to pass he pullls an extremely fast turn into my path and we collide. I fell literally in the old mans lap between his legs and i was just like Hi,, are you ok? he said ya and i got up and left. It would have been amazing to have on vid.
 
our park put a rail on the deck of the pipe, and someone carved too close and fell into the pipe...it probably hurt alot considering the walls are 17 feet. o well he got up:)
 
alright this wasn't my wipe out but I saw it . so some little black kid maybe 9-10 is going on the boxes straight on pencil steeze and rental skis. finally he's down at the kiddie park and he falls and stabs himself in the face with his pole handle, but it was actually a t direct jab to the eye and he was down for a few minutes but he's black so he toughed it out
 
same thing happend to me last year... i was skiing the park and i came up to this spine/hip thing. one kid went off the hip part and i was going over teh spine part. i didnt see him and he didnt see me until we were in the air. we hit eachother and pushed off but neither of us fell. it was kinda cool i guess. we were both so close to falling i bet it looke rediculous.
 
i came into a big open lift line once at night and was sliding this big left hand turn into the line to slow down, but i was gonna try to just ski right onto the chair, and like halfway into the turn my pole catches under my outside ski and i eat it hardcore right in the middle of the line.

I just love the snowboarder who handskims the step up before impacting the wall upside down, so classy.

 
back when i was a little seed i lost control and ran into the padded lift poles and got a concusion ever scince my dad made me wear a helment because i was so crazy

 
^i was just dancin' to the music in that video and singin' along using a hairbrush as a microphone, im a 17 year old girl and thats what happens when ABBA comes on, mum walked in shook her head and walked out. thanks for the vid. i'm gonna go dig up my ABBA cd and continue on the fun on my 8hour roadtrip with friends this weekend
 
in our terrain park we have this little like 10ft kicker and has 2 take offs

so me and my went off either side and were doing crossed mutes diagonal to each other

so he goes first and does it fine but as i go right after him he yells in the air "oh fuck" and right on the left side of the landing there is a kid laying there i try my best to avoid him in mid air but my ski digs into his back and pops off

i thought for sure i had broken the kids back i hit him so hard but i asked if he was aight and he said yes so i skied on and countinued to hit the jump
 
not mine but last year we were waiting just before a rail and one of my friend whos not really good at skiing just decided hed go as fast as he could and jumped over this rail. he went way past the landing and we were like shit he must be dead. we then saw his helmet rolling on the ground and went to see him. he had lost pretty much all his equipment, even a glove. its was totally hilarious but we didnt want to laugh to hard in front of him cause he got hurt pretty bad. it was the funniest bail ive ever seen in my life.
 
i had a good fall this year...

my buddy and i are cruising down a blue, he tries to ski inbetween my legs by sitting on my skis, when he is under me i catch and edge but almost pull it off. i am in like a full split for a good 2 seconds before i eat shit and fall on him we roll to the bottom and basically landed in a 69 position for the whole lift to see. was pretty hilarious...
 
haha that vid was great... i got a funny 1 this year but it was of a little kid that was like 5 maybe with no poles and he was goin down a pretty tough hill for his age and at the end theres a little like side trail that u go in to go off a little kicker and the kid come flyin down and cuts into it at the last second pizza style and launches into the woods... his skis popped off in mid air and he hit a padded snow makin machine and he was stuck in a ditch that was like 3 feet deep... funniest shit ever
 
not skiing, but my friend went to fake kick my other friend. and when he swung his leg up his shoe came off and hit m friend in the nose causing him to bleed all over.
 
I skiing Killington while I had Mono a couple years ago, this is overally not a very good Idea but I was there on break and figured fuck it. So I was doin this run with my dad and older cousin and I was between them with good distance between all of us and it was where two trails met and you had to up hill a little bit to reach the lift so I tried to Jump off the lip onto the lower run for funzies, but my weight was wayyyy to far forward I ended face planting and falling into the woods where I somehow landed on this little tiny sapling with one ski planted dead center on the tree. When I finally opened my eyes some crazy foreign guy was holding his pole for me to pull myself up, it was wicked fun, kinda.
 
a few weeks back i overshoot a jump and my take off was complete shit, i ended up flying through the air having down about a 1/3 of a backflip and landing straight on my back on the flat. The jump was a lot steeper than i had anticipated, as soon as i left the lip i was like 'shit' and i knew i was gonna bail hard. Later on my brother told me it looked hilarious, i wish he'd being filming
 
that sounds like it would have been really cool to see.

k this one didint happen to me, but when I was skiing with a bunch of friends down a moguls run my friend cought an edge, end she is overly flexible, like no spine what so ever, and just watching her tumble down the run with her back doing really messed up stuff and her ski's ending up compleatly over her head and on the ground in the end was really funny. she was totaly fine.
 
i was going down the mountain sideways, not stopping but sliding on my bases and i went forward for a little to get speed and then slid, for about 30 feet, keep in mind this was a green, and then all of the sudden catch a downhill edge and SMACK right into a lift pole, luckily i was wearing a helmet so it was all good but i just laid there laughing with my skis popped off and poles off. none of the bastards asked if i was ok
 
OK, so I have been skiing for like 15 years (I know its longer than many of you have been alive) and I have never fallen off of or missed a chair, until last year. It happened again yesterday. I get in position and the liftie tells me to move over, but I had a majorly delayed reaction and the center pole of the chair, its a double, hits me and knocks me to the ground. I still can't believe it.
 
Right as the lift ended, i got off too early and fell in the saftey net. Stopped the chair for a good 30 mins.
 
one time i hit a really high flat down rail and split my legs. black and blue baby. pissin out blood for a few days. my buddies laughed so hard that they ended up face first in the snow... 1/3 dead.
 
so snow.please my dad and i were skiin the trees at bigwhite it was snow.pleases first time at BW and we had been hitting lots of drops off boulders so i call out to my dad (at the bottom of the drop) to ask what the landings like so while im awaiting an answer snow.please decides to go well it turns out it was just a bunch of oddly positioned rocks covered with snow (we didnt know at the time) so when he goes he catches his ski on the rock ski comes off which caused him to flip off the rock tomma hawk a bit and just miss a rock with his head and lands standing on his feet with no skis on at the time it was scary to watch but thinking back on it after we knew he was ok it was hillarious but from the top it looked like a drop but from the bottom it was pretty much a bunch of rocks

then i had one a dfferent time so me and my friend are on a school ski trip at sun peaks and he likes skiing but is not as hcore as his brother and i are and he hits some small jumps and im tryin to get him to do some so we're going down the run under the main lift and we're skiing and i am coming up to this 3 - 4 footer and im tryin to get my friend to hit it so i hit it and he keeps skiing and i look down at the landing and realize there is a log sticking out of the landing so my friend said i hit the log like flipped and rolled and then it really started to hurt in my knee as i climb up to pack up my yard sale

but thinking back on both those i realllllly wish i had them on film cause they were both super funny
 
Another one....

I was at Chestnut in Illinois, and i got to the end of the terrain park, and pretty much just bombed down the last hill at the end, which was pretty steep. Towards the bottom, i guess there were a few bumps that i couldnt see. I hit one of them and pretty much just flew and yardsaled right in front of the lift.

It was epic.
 
Anyone remeber the faceplant/slide on the box video? Well same thing happened to me today pretty much did the whole box on my face lol.
 
stupidest thing i did.

waitin for someone to come down the hill. i was ready to cut right but he kept goin left so i went to turn around but i caught my edge on my pole and went tumbling down the hill from a complete stand still. when i recovered, my pole was broke and all.

i can't remember exactly how this happened...but i think i was on a box and somehow ate it and my pole got planted as i fell so my sternum slammed right into the top of the grip...it hurt so freaking bad
 
my friend (very small) was trying to go through my other friends (very big) legs, but big friend ended up not being balanced and sat on smalls face.

Last year I was skiing on an endless pow day, skied down this technical, very narrow gully, dropped a 10 footer to exit it and straight lined out. My friend was following me through the line and about 10 seconds after dropping the cliff, while still straight lining, my skis just stop dead. I double eject and go flying through the air with a cloud of smoke around me. I flew a good 10-15 feet since I was going so fast and all I could see the whole time while flying through the air was the cloud of snow surrounding me and all I could hear was my friend cracking up in hysterics behind me. One I landed (on my knees somehow), all I could do was uncontrollably laugh with him for a good 5 minutes. Then, a skier came down behind us and congratulated me on the line saying it was too bad i fell on the easy part haha.

Two days ago I was teaching a lesson and was spinning in circles on the snow trying to show the kids how to use the their flats vs. edges, started spinning real fast, caught an edge and slammed my face into the snow. All my kids were laughing at me for it.

Today, I was skiing some tight trees in the sidecountry of Snowmass, tried to punch a tree out of the way of my face, ended up catching my hand/pole in it, flipping upside down and getting my ski caught in the branch with my skis in the air above my head. I had to struggle to pull my skis out of hte branch while keeping my head above the snow haha. It's hard to get out of a treewell when your feet are literally above your head.

ok so i go to nollie nosepress (i snowboard by the way) a box and my nose hits the front of the box i do half a front flip land ontop of the box on my head and slide lifeless off the rest of it i then stand up and all my friends are laughing at me
 
i was about to go over a sketchy cliff with some twigs and stuff sticking out of it and right at the top both my skis just popped off. i tumbled down the whole thing during which my friends were laughing their asses off.
 
im new to the park so this was even funnier, but we have this like 8 foot tall a frame box that i said what the hell to so i go up to the top and jump off the side to try to land on the tranny on the other side, well i jumped to early and my back skiis were still on the box so i went straight down tips of my skis go into the ,ground first ejecting the i faceplanted, it killed but oh well i got back up ha
 
i was skiing in lousie and my ski got caught somehow in mid air and completely ate it for a good 30 meters. it was hilarious, some kid getting off a chairlift thought i died and rushed to my aid.
 
At blue on saturday, someone fell at the top of a steep slope and just slid all the way down while spinning around on their back.

Someones snowboard fell from the lift.

There was a wallride and there was a huge space in between the ramp for it and the wall and coming back down my tips caught the space in between and I front flipped but still rode away.
 
i was hiking up the side of a trail once to get to a cut off to (shortcut to the park) and some guy come hauling down and sees my friend (on the other side of the trail) and cuts into me and we eat shit. he goes thanks buddy and i was like fuck that this is not my fault. i ended up yelling at the guy for like 5 minutes about how he is the uphill skier and should have seen me and he kept telling me it was my fault because i shouldn't have been going up the hill. some of my friends started yelling shit at him and his son told me i'm not cool for being a tough guy (yelling at his dad) asshole skis off and i tell him to go fuck himself long story short some guy crashed into me and blamed it on me because i'm younger and wear g suit pants
 
was skiing into a pow section on Whistler in like thigh deep snow and when i hit it my skiis just popped off.. (guess they weren't waxed enough) and I did a half flip into the snow and I was buried under a screen of powder, as well as it took me like 5 minutes to feel out my skiis. It was pretty funny for everyone there.
 
Was going to hit this flat down box that I had hit a million times before, not enough speed, and i somehow catch my tip in the side of the box and hit the ground rapidly with much force. I look back and my single ski is sticking perpendicular out of the side of the box boi oi oi oi oing bouncing still. Thanks K2 for a ski that didnt break on that one
 
has anyone else wanted to jump off of the lift like 15 feet before you get off and land on the downslope behind you switch? dont know why i have the temptation but it look so fun.
