fuck is teh shit, hands down. george clinton is also the shit, hands down. unofruntaly for us, the poor guy is so coked out he can barely functiion let alone do shows. i saw him a couple weeks ago........great music an dgreat time, but man, listening to that poor guy try to sing made my throat hurt. Deep Bananna Blackout is a kick ass funk band, you guys shoudl all check them out

man, funk is one of the greatest genres ever, so fun to be an idiot and dance all wicked style to that stuff. Funk collections are one of my favorite albums

I like the older shit but a lot of the newer funk is too much like crap jam bands. Damn Widespread Picnic. on a hypocritical note, James Brown came here with none other than wsp. it was sweet, he sang america the beautiful like fuckin buttah.

yes tay... hazel is a fucking genious. Maggot brain is the best guitar solo ever and it was pure improv. he pictured his mom dieing and then finding out that she was alive. My goal in life is to learn that song.

theres a natural mystic flowing through the air if you listen carefully now you will hear. its the first trumpet calling. might as well be the last. many more will have to suffer many more will have to die dont ask me why. things are not the way they used to be.
