anyone like these dudes? i just bought one of the cds, two actually, pretty cool.

Anyone heard of a band called Skirtbox too?

I like Seven Ways to Scream Your Name, there newest one was sort of a dissapointment.

 
I don't understand the relevance. Its music. People throw the term emo around so much. Lyrical content maybe be emotionally based but that does not instantly classify a band. I saw them in montreal with Taking Back Sunday. Their stage presence was amazing. Yes the lyrics may have an emotional nature, but the instruments and attitude give the band a "Rockish"feel.

i was looking at their stuff on myspace today. i'd heard of them before but never took the time to listen to their music. i thought it was just another hardcore grunge band, which we definately don't need. but these guys are actually good. myspace classified them as post-hardcore, whatever that means.

i'm thinking of getting their first one or the newest one that came out. as i'm strapped for cash and don't steal music anymore, any help?

Funeral For A Friend is an awesome band. The newer CD is a lot different than the other CD's that they're made. More rock now than hardcore.
 
my buddy showed me these guys and i couldn't stand listening to them the only emo band i like is saosin pretty much and only thing that saves them is the DOUBLE KICK
 
dude emo is just the name for the new wave punk ....its like heavy metal to glam rock, emo is a music style....the problem is that people make a link with the lifestyle and they make rumors, but some band take that image to make money....THEY ARE GAY FAG....thats the image that they want to project..but some band just love what they're doing and thats alright they have my ''respect'' but i think gay simple riff are not talent..they're like hey what's a solo man i cannot do that?....anyway that subject got to much discusses
