there are lots of bands out there that i dont like. one of the methods I use to prevent myself from having to have contact with them or their work is NOT MAKING THREADS ABOUT THEM.

Be Calm is my favorite song by them. Actually, their previous album, Aim and Ignite, is incredible. So much better than Some Nights IMO. but I do still like Some Nights.

And the similarities between Queen and Fun. are plentiful. Like you said, they both have the theatrical timbre and the harmonizations Fun. utilizes are almost identical to Queen. They are both very similar. That being said, though, Nate Ruess has nothing on Freddy Mercury.

Meh...pop format, attempting to be a little bit different by being somewhat flamboyant. Nothing new. Trendy music for those who dgaf about being pretentious in the slightest.

I, however, pride myself on being a hipster pretentious fuck when it comes to collecting music. I agree with what others have said, don't make a thread about it if you don't like it. It's really counterproductive.
