ive been in nova scotia for a month now, and have about a week and a half till i go home. im near new glasgow and its a couple hours drive to halifax. anything fun i can do? HELP ME NS

I love Nova Scotia, and have spent some time there. These ideas may not work for you, as I do not remember geographic locations and they may be too far a drive. I really have no idea, and do not feel like googling it right now.

Have you seen the Bay of Fundy? That was super cool, biggest tides in the world! There was also a river somewhere that flows backward once or twice a day. Check that out.

The coolest thing I remember in Nova Scotia was Joggins. Go there! There are tons and tons of fossil trees littering the coastline, and you are free to collect amazing fossils. Free! There's a cool visitor center where one guy who has been collecting his entire life showcases his better finds, to give you a good idea of what you are looking for.

I also did a good amount of canoeing in one of the parks. Was it Kethamacoogic or Koodjamaquack? Both are really cool, even if I can't spell their names correctly. Also the best trout fishing I have experienced.

go to the blues festival in truro next weekend its alot of fun. theres concerts, bbq contest, beer gardens, and camping for the weekend.

Alright man, There's no fun in New Glasgow, and it's my least favourite town in the world. Leave New Glasgow and you can drive to Halifax in less than an hour and a half.

Really.....

drive to Antigonish, eat at The Wheel.

In Halifax take a tour of the Keith's Brewery

If you're interested in history there is a lot offered there as well, go down to what I believe is Lower Water Street in Halifax. Pier 21 and the museum of the Atlantic. The citadel is also really damn cool.

I would love to be in Nova Scotia right now.

my family owns property in Nova Scotia..out on Cape Breton..we don't really do much when were there..just camp out, walk by the water, atv around, it was close to a town called Sidney but it wasn't very exciting when we visited they're a while back

I go to school in Halifax. It pretty shitty. Weather sucks, not much to do other than go to bro-fest bars on weekends. Brewery tours are the only real attraction.
