Fun idea for boreal after closing

the only reason i say boreal for this is because mudflap is probably the only one that would even consider it. but here is my idea, how about right after boreal closes, you push a bunch of snow somewhere that stays pretty shady. this way we could set up some rails and just have a patch to mess around on for a month or two. This is a huge favor to ask cause there would be almost nothing to gain on boreal's part, but i would be more than willling to help and i'm sure others would too. One thing that would be good for boreal though is that this would make even more people stoked on boreal. eh?
 
i agree. and i'm willing to help. we need some "after-season" stuff cause this season looks like its gonna end fairly early, and boreal is realyy the only one who would do that.
 
that would be super legit. Us the snow from the gnar bucket line to make a ginat patch next to the trees that could last for a super long time!!!
 
they are closed though so technically we are trespassing so they shouldn't be liable. i have no idea though and i just pulled that out of my ass.
 
That would be sick. They would not even have to leave a rail or box out, it could be a bring your own jib.
 
yeah it would be just like in the past when eric has set up a patch in the fall before there was sufficient snow.
 
yea thats true... i can just see them being like "if someone gets hurt on our property when we arent open we can get suied" blah blah...... im sure eric can leave a pile of snow for us to take and use for urban or somethin.. dont worrry guys mammoth is ganna be open till may 31
 
ha okay im not ganna argue with ya. dont be bitter cause you only used your pass 2 times this year. its something called a snow pack
 
I like it also but to be honest I doubt the powers that be would allow it. There's always too many people screwing around up here during that time, wrecking stuff, making a mess and stealing(including rails).
 
tell these so called powers that if you do this a great god by the name of stinkypoodangle will descend upon their mountain and protect it at the cost of his own life.

all rails that can be carried away will be locked up.

I'll be around with staff till May doing photoshoots.

Being on the hill after we close is a big deal so please don't create a problem by messing around up here.

I'm not trying to be mean or anything, it's just the way it is.

Those are for the Rome Snowboards Pro Team, they are filming the intro to their movie, taking photos for all of their ads for next year, and both TWS and Future mags are here covering the action.
 
Those people at Boreal on snowmobiles were the Academy and Rome team shoots...plus a few poaching sled necks that were dealt with. We've got another shoot starting on Sunday.

Please respect the "Area Closed" and "Private Property" signs. If anyone comes up they will be turned away. Sorry.
 
nope...there's a bunch of keys floating around from over the years.

I kicked two guys out last weekend who claimed the same thing but they couldn't tell me who gave them the key. "oh..its my friends key"

The bottom line is Boreal is private property and closed. There are signs everywhere stating that as well as no trespassing.

While I'm still around doing shoots I'm responsible for enforcing the "closed area". I don't like doing it but while I'm still working, it's my ass on the line.

Be warned, if you park inside the gate and past the signs...your vehicle can be towed and the sheriff might be waiting.

Sorry it's like this but there's been too much vandalism and theft over the years right after we close.
 
I hear ya... I'll se if I can find out who gave us the keys

No worries though... I was personally given the OK to ride at homewood, I'll go there just to be safe.
