STH 16 has a wider mounting pattern the the Jester. plus they are cheaper, have a wider AFD, and are overall much better bindings.

Thats all, have a nice day.

I could and I did. Way sick bindings too, I used them all of last season and got some for my Donner Party's this year. Maybe the STH are better if you break it down really far, but I've never had a problem with my Jesters.

i think jesters and all the other binding from that family are goofy looking.

goofy binding family.

I think the footprint of the jester is still wider than the sth16. The screws are further apart on the sth, but the plastic is wider on the jester. Not that I don't agree with you. I fully concur that sth16 are better than jesters.

this is a quote about Jesters from yeahitsdave:
1) more elastic travel from the jesters. will feel more secure in the binding, much more solid contact
2) wider footprint. having the wider mounting point will help control a fatter ski, more power to ur edges and much less likely to pull out of the topsheet.
3) shorter footprint. should be increased snow feel (which is guessing is part of the reason you wanted the lower lifter)
4) equal height heel and toe peices. puts ur boot in a level position for skiing forward or switch.

actually, if you know anything about marker bindings, then you wouldn't say that. Look up all the information. Every other binding of markers, I agree, is shitty for freestyle. I wasn't a believe of marker until I took the time to understand how the front pivots, different than pretty much any other binding, Look them up and it could make a believer of you too.

Please, it sucks. I know what how the binding works. Its my job to know how the bindings work. and there is nothing that great about the Jester toe.

Your first posted is not a fact it is a mixed statement. I don't even know why I care I ride looks anyway
