Fun BC Skis

Hey gang,

Looking for a ski in 105-115 waist width range that's a could combination of rip-able (I go fast), fun (I enjoy a proper send, as well as skiing/landing switch) but also somewhat lightweight as I'm going to be doing a fair amount of BC in them.

Probably going to fitted with marker kingpin 13's and Salomon Lab boots.

I'm pretty interested in the Line Mordecai's, but my last pair of lines (blends) lacked the construction quality I'd like and dissolved after 2 seasons. The Mordecai however is pretty much the exact size/rocker/camber/symmetry I'm interested in.

Let me know,

Thanks!

I would check out the Moment Deathwish. Interesting shape with Rocker and camber. 112mm waist, and a 138mm tip. Definitely stable at speed.

Also comes in a touring version, the Underworld. Slightly skinnier but a whole lot lighter.

Not sure if that is a full twin. I think other Moment touring skis have a flat tail. Not good for switch landings.

Kartels would be great, and kingpins are great (have both, just not mounted together)

Others skis that I'd imagine would be good are:

Moments underworld or the bibby tour

Kitten Factory razor 105

Faction 3.0

Armada avr 106

A lot of good suggestions in this thread. Personally I'm super stoked on the Sego Bighorn, jibby twin with a tour layup. Should get a pair to review here in the next few days!

But yep, I would not hesitate to throw Kingpins on something like a Kartel 108, that sort of setup is awesome!

It's got a good amount of early rise in the tail, almost as much as the tip. The only flat tail touring ski would be the Tallac.
