Fulltilt Pinch

I know the first response will be "go to a bootfitter" but the only bootfitter on my side of the peninsula across from seattle is ridiculously expensive.

So, not sure if anybody else has or has had this problem. But on my 11/12 booters, on the left boot. I get this extreme pain about 3 hours into riding that cause both sides of my foot on the arch to hurt really badly. I can barley walk it hurts so bad.

So does anybody know what could be causing it? I ride with my boots unbuckled to see if that helps when i starts to hurt. and it doesnt change a thing.

Any info will be best. And if there are no answers i will end up going to the bootfitter.

thanks, cory

At first read I would say the liners gone, but if they're 11/12 I doubt you could of worn it out by now. So that leaves one real option that it's a poor fit, really you have two options

1. get the boot stretched although that would mean going to a bootfitter

2. Since you don't want to see a boot fitter a foot bed might be the best bet

Unless you are really opposed to the idea seriously go to a boot fitter a good one should make these fit like a glove

you may need a shell stretch, same thing happened to me, then I got my shell stretched(for free and I didn't even buy the boots from that store) and a day later they were perfect.

ya, my store is the only one within like 2 hours that can do it. so they charge 40 bucks a boot.... fuckin ripoff.

has anyone just put those dr.schols insoles things in their boots. instead on getting footbeds. not trying to be cheap, just wondering.

Try a footbed. It could be many things but it probably is because your 5th metatarsal is having pressure put on it by the narrowness of the boot.

figure out how high your arch is.. and Sidas conformable has these foot beds called 3 feet. they come in 3 arch height and are semi mouldable. they will run you $50. much more worth it, than drug store foot beds...

you can also try superfeet

Full Tilts don't have a great deal of volume....and in some cases a footbed will create more issues than they solve. I have Full Tilt Camos...and when I tried a low profile footbed it just didnt work at all with my foot.

Have any of you actually tried putting a footbed in a fulltilt? There is no stock filler footbed inside an intuition liner so unless you have some heel slop and you can lift you hill inside the boot a bit, you will only be taking up precious room. I had both a loose heel and coil raise my heel about half an inch in my high fives and I put a low profile footbed in to help snug up the fit. If you are going to go the custom route, you will need to trim/dremil the hell outta the footbed to make it fit

As for the pinch in the front, I have has a similar experience although it's with my right foot. What size of FT are you in?

regarding your first post -- Ya there isnt much room in the liners. so im not sure how people are able to fit them in with intuition liners. cause there isnt much room.

2nd post -- its not so much a pinch, just a extreme pain like i have been standing on my feet for 50 hours. and i thought it was always cause my boots being to tight. i.e. pinching my foot. just aches.

im wearing 27.5
