Fulltilt or salomon?

Hey I'm looking into a couple different boots for next season. last season I rode the Salomon pro models,

and they were dope. But I've been looking into full tilt, and I really like the 2010 hot dogger and High Five.

all I am wondering is which of the 3 boots would be the best to hit an urban jib sesh then take it out for a pow day as well? also whats the deal with these interchangeable tongues

yes we all know full tilts look cool, but if your foot is wide look elsewhere. As far as interchangable tongues go, you can just change the colors.

my preference is salomon but the SPK boot is park specific and not the best option for all mountain charging or super pitched terrain

You really need to try both on first. If the salomons fit, then you probably have a wider foot and wouldn't be as happy with the FT. I have FT Konflicts (and skinny feet) and use them for everything. Would like to get a softer toungue to try but I am happy with them as they are.

jacking thread now: I bought some salomon boots this season but when trying them on they hurt my calves way to much(my calves are big) instead i ended up using some nordica enforcers. Next season im think about getting the hotdogger and ive heard the boot itself is kinda of a low cut....Should i get it

not anymore. pretty much the entire full tilt line is split between the conventional narrow last and a new one that is a few mm's wider. the hot dogger is one that is wider, so is the booter and i believe the high five is as well (not sure on that last one).
regarding the thread creator's quesion: as far as getting a boot that will be killer all around, look at the konflict. i shredded a pair of those last winter and they were amazing. they came with an 8 flex tongue for charging all mountain (and for warm weather) and they also came with a 4 tongue for park and whatnot (extremely cold weather). that way you can swap out your tongue depending upon what type of skiing you will be doing on any given winter (or summer) day.

i've never tried on a full tilt but i have a wide foot and i couldn't put on the SPK's and bsrely got my foot in the guns, both by salomon. check out the nordica supercharger series...nasty dude. the padding is amazing

oh shit man. i'm totally fucking sorry that i didn't know that one for you. can i suck your dick as an apology
