yes, but only if you found the cable cover somewhere to buy separately, which probably wont happen. Or wait till next year when they come out and someone doesnt like theirs and sell the covers on NS..

If you want the same look you can buy a cable cover (unless you already have one - I don't know which years hot doggers you have), and sew some skate shoe tongues and laces to them. Someone did it with their Konflicts and posted it on here a few days ago.
It would probably just be easier to wait till next year and buy the boots though.
 
i know but i was wondering if i could just wate till next year and then just by the cable cover sepratley instead of bying the whole boot.
 
FT doesnt sell cable covers by them self so youll have to find someone on here willing to sell theirs
 
I dont get whats so special about those cable covers, I think theyre ugly and look so clumpsy, but yeah feel free to think and feel however you want to :D I would enjoy the hotdoggers more without those, they started looking more like moon boots. Who wants to look like Napoleon dynamite while skiing? ( Or I mean who would not like to look like him? ) ID tap that
