FULLTILT help. Urgent.

Hey everyone. IM getting some Fulltilt hot doggers, the zebra ones. Im wondering the sizing. Because i live in New Zealand i have to order them in. Iknow your thinking you have to try them on but ive used SPK pro models and Dalblo Kyrptons, and from both i get the worst shinbang so Fulltilts are my last hope. Im size 27-27.5 in my Kyrptons. They are perfect size, i have a little bit of room and its no way to small of not alittle bit to big. I need to know if i should order size 27.5 or 28 since fulltilts sizing is smaller. Thanks alot guys. K+++ for help.

I've skied Full tilts (raichles) for 20 years before switching to the Kryptons. I wear a 26.5 in both boots. the Krytons are a 305mm and the Full tilts are a 301 in that size. i'm sure it's pretty much the same for your size. So the Fulltilts might be a little (very) bit smaller esp. in the toe box. If you had shin bang w/ the Kryptons i wouldn't be too optimistic about the Fulltilts preventing that. I find them to be pretty close skiing wise except the weight. The Hotdoggers are def. lighter. Hope that helps.

if you have a wide foot, dont get any full tilt boot from previous years. if you in fact do have a wide foot get next years booters.

when in doubt, go a tiny bit bigger. and an awesome part about full tilt is you can get the boot liner heat molded to your foot so it will fit you better! my 27.5 full tilt x orage ltd editions were a little snug at first but then i got them heat molded and they fit perfect.

youll want them to be a little tight at first because the intuition liners pack out alot more then any other boot ive ever had

I used to wear boots way too big. I'm a size 8.5 in most street shoes and used to be a 26.5 in Full TIlts. Then this past season I went down to a 25.5 and loved it.

The reason you had shin bang from other boots is because they didn't fit. Try something on and if it fits you you won't get shin bang. Problem solved.

SV is correct with that statement. i had a 26.5 booter, packed out on me in a month from being in em everyday. I too had the krypton in a 26.5 and wished i wouldve had a 25.5 or a 26.0 for my FT's. anyways, they are awesome and very very comfortable. but with that said they can still perform like mofo in and out of the park! enjoy your boots, they are the best!

not entirely true. shin bang can come from different areas in the boot not getting enough pressure on the right areas of your lower leg going towards your ankle. also cause from landing backseat too much.

i think my next FT's are gonna be a 25.5 as well. Rich, I had the same thing with mine i wear an 8.5 street shoe got a 26.5 FT and bam blown out in amonth. so i definately agree with you there.

dont listen to this retard, say you do go bigger in size, even a half a size. your season will be ruined. do not take this kids advice. go lower in size heat mild them, then start wearing them like a mofo. After that first month of breaking them in they will feel like the boots are one with your feet. no sloppy movement inside the boot from too much room. any movement your foot makes your boot makes instantly with a good fitting pair of boots, however if you buy them too big say youre going down some steeps, every turn you try to make will become more and more difficult because youre expending more energy to get your skis to turn with extra room in your boots. the tighter the better.

remember ski boots arent made for walking just because they are tight in a shop doesnt mean they are too small when youre on the hill in a skiing stance where the knees ben forward and the toes come back away from the toe box. good luck i hope you find the right pair.

I never try shit on before buying them. I always get whatever is cool. It makes you alot better and its more comfortable. Boot fitters are worthless, let alone just going in and trying them on somehwere

and i assume you own a pair of tilts yourself? if you do, youd know they fit about a half size smaller. go a half size bigger in full tilt.

lower size=toe bang. i dont care if theyre molded or not. if the boots too small, then its too damn small. your feet will not fit. doesnt take a "retard" to figure that out.

double post... you my friend are actually know what your talking about, good post, listen to this guy

i went to a boot fitter both times i got boots. full tilts are about a half size smaller. so if you are a 27.5 in others, perhaps you should avoid tiny ass boots by going 28. dont waste your $$$

yeah till your boot packs out and your fucked, then you wasted your $$ anyways.... when buying a ski boot always go as tight as you possibly can, if not you will regret it

I've had my zebra ones for 2 years now and the foam smashs down alot. like i've grown a full boot size since i bought them but they still fit me good. so expect the foam to smash.

haha maybe as tight as you can without cutting off circulation, theyre not supposed to be comfortable until they get broken in from riding a few times

this. I like my kryptons...but fulltilts definitely are skinny. and if I were you i really wouldn't do what you're about to do...there are so many things that can go wrong with a pair of boots...by the way, has anyone heard anything else about next years booters?

Don't get bigger, full tilt does have a smaller shell size than most boots but that's to make them lighter, most people just think they're smaller because they're so narrow compared to other boots.

And if you do have a wide foot don't get the new fulll tilts, they're not just wide full tilts, they're a completely different design with a "normal" way of flexing
