Full Tuilt Tom Walisch vs. Full Tuilt Drop Kicks

The shell is exactly the same just a different cover, they both feature the active bootboard, drop kick is a 4 flex tounge (incredibly soft), hot dogger 6 flex tounge (soft/medium), drop kick plastic buckles, hot dogger aluminium buckles.

Personally I would go with a the hit doggers as they have metal buckles which wont break like the plastic ones, if you do find the flex to stiff (which I doubt you will) you can allways swap the tounge for a 4 flex toungue

yea, if you have the extra cash to drop, as im pretty sure the doggers are a bit more expensive, go for it.

Yea I'm only 150 will I be able to flex it

That's the problem I have with my current boots

im about the same, i have the current year booters with a 6 tongue and i have no problem, you should be fine

The main difference appart from the flex is the quality of the liner. The hot doggers have a much thicker and confortable while the drop kicks have a thinner one.

You should go with the hot doggers if they both fit you well.

Hot Dogger's don't have metal buckles, they're plastic too.

The liner is 100 times better in the Hot Dogger than the drop kick, spend the extra money for the liner, it's worth it.

That's a mistake on the website then...they're plastic...just look at them:

Now look at the First Chairs (which DO have metal buckles):

Current hot doggers have plastic buckles and they snap. The liner in the hotdogger is so much better though. Spend the extra money

Here's a crazy idea, get the first chair (same as Tom Wallisch shell) then buy a 4 flex toungue. Then you get metal buckles same shell as Tom Wallisch and drop kick with drop kick toungue and the pro liner!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ther everything is perfect

Or, since he's not sure of a #10 flex (rather stiff), along with the rigid footboard (people don't like it in park, I don't notice). He can get the Seth Pro.

#8 flex tongues (perfect for everywhere), squishy footboard, and metal buckles.

assuming full tilts fit you, then you'll be fine in a 6 flex for sure. i'm about 135 pounds, i have no trouble flexing my drop kicks with a 6 flex tongue. you might notice a flex change at different temperatures though. on warm spring days they are super flexy, but in the cold winter they felt slightly stiffer. you will not have a problem.

and yes, be careful with the buckles. but if you really aren't worried, buy hot doggers and ride them until buckles break. i've had ft plastic buckles all year and they are still intact. then, if you do break them, buy some metal ones and replace.

No. They have no less tech than any of the other boots. They have a softer tongue, squishier footboard, which might be beneficial for park skiers, but they still have shitty plastic buckles

the reason they don't have metal buckles is because they want to reduce weight! hot doggers at 1:00

A friend of mine tried both and ended up going with the Drop Kick. The liner just felt better to him - it's slightly thinner, and he has a very tall foot, so he got a better fit in the Drop Kick.

If you can afford both, go with the one that fits better. Actually, screw that, never go boot shopping with a budget at the top of your priorities.

I would MUCH rather have metal buckles and have the boot heavier than to have every single buckle snap within a season.

I have drop kicks and there mad nice. I don't find them to flexy but then again the mountain I usually go to doesn't really have any jumps over 30 ft. There pretty dope looking

I can't say anything about the drop kicks but I have hot Doggers and the liners are amazing. Extremely compfy and feel really good and they keep your feet very warm. I'm like 125 and I have a bit of trouble flexing but it fine and for you I'd be easier so I'd go for the hot Doggers.

the key difference is actually in the liner. the hotdogger features a MUCH higher quality liner, with the intuiton system. this will give you extra support, comfort and warmth. the shells are not different. plus tammy walnuts wears hotdoggers

The Drop Kick comes with a cookable Intuition liner as well. It's just a little thinner and softer.
