Full tilts

im not sure if there has a already been a thread for this or not...and it may sound stupid. but what are the difference of full tilts and normal freestyle boots?

You're dumb. First of all Full Tilt is not only freestyle. Just look at the fucking website or go try some on. Hop of T-Wall's sack.

1. go on websites of ski boot companys

2. read up and research their products

3. make comaparison

4.?????

5. go to bootfitter and try them joints on

I may be wrong, but after re-reading the OP, I didn't see anything related to T-Wall. You seem like a dick.

Anyways, the major difference is going to be the 3 piece shell with the cables instead of a traditional shell .

It's all about advertising.
Any boot-manufacturer could say that their normal racingboot is a parkboot. Just change the colors and add some rubber under the foot and you got a "freestyleboot".
The damping in a freestyleboot helps atmost 10% and the rest 90% is the fit.
Raichles were originally a racingboot but since K2 bought the mold they started to advertise it as a freestyleboot.

oh ok thanks...just asking im growing out of my boots so i wanted to know the difference between the two. is it it true that full tilts prevent shin bang? i see people saying that full tilts prevent it but i see people say it doesn't and it does.

haha no. well, not entirely. if you got full tilts that fit well you'd probably have less instances of shinbang. but if you keep landing back you'd be getting it still.

go get fitted for something, it'll turn out way better just tell them you like 3 piece boots.

Shut the fuck up. You're a dick. No boot really prevents shin bang at all. They just give you more support and cushioning around the shin so it hurts less on backseat landings. You can still get shinbang. Virtually any boot can give you shinbang. Its all about having your boots on a tight or the tightest level.

Ft's have a more progressive forward flex while still remaining laterally stiff, I have both a pair of ft's and kryptons and love them. Def give the ft's a try

Get full tilts is sort of an inside jokebecause so many people on this website have them regardless if they fit or not, claiming that they fit well and prevent shinbang even tough they crushing there foot.If they fit, they will help make your shin bang less serious, but make sure that you get a boot that fits, not the boot that looks the coolest
Also, since you are new, I would advise you not to make more threads like these because you will only get one of two answer. The first one will come from the thousands of prepubescent twelve year olds and also some actually mature people. "go to a bootfitter"you will be able to tell the difference because the 12 year old will write it in all caps with 2 million exclamation points
The second one will be the inside joke i explained above

Seriously, don't take NS's advice for recommending you a certain boot, get fitted.

haha ya...i am going to a boot fitter but i just wanted to see what people think about the boot and stuff.

sorry if i offended you for not knowing the difference....i was only asking a question to see if i would get any feed back that would help me out before i went to check out the boot. i don't care call me names but its only a question

your fucking retarded.

and your first post was also fucking retarded. leave ns right now, you wont be missed.

And yes the Spk post was a joke. I'm just making fun of how all these kids trend whore boots. I have Dalbellos. I trolled this whole thread. Thanks for feeding me.

he's probably right, I bet you dress in all of the best shit and make sure everyone knoes you're a skier, but you really just blow. You're going to be shitty anyway, why not be shitty in a boot that actually fits your foot?

I just got a pair the other day. Right now, my toe is killing me, but I was poorly fitted, but besides that, they feel fantastic. If you don't land perfect, the boots absorb the impact rather than your feet, which feels great.
They work for some people, don't work for others, but check first.

I don't get why people have to hate on a simple question...I just wanted to know about the boot an I'm not saying I'm the best at skiing but I'm progressing. I dont dress like I'm the best and dont try to act like the best. If you don't have a good answer to say about the boot then move on with your life.

theyre a light weight 3 piece design that keeps your foot warm with the intuition liner. but everyone will tell you the truth which is its best if you get what fits.

FTs have a special tongue that gives them a progressive flex, this means that the harder you flex the boot, the stiffer the flex becomesother boots that also have this "tongue" design and progressive flex are the Nordica ace of spades, dalbello krypton and similar molded designs....
also park boots tend to be more upright and are better suited for shock absorbing ...

My toes killed for a while, pisse me off, but a shell fit indicated I shouldn't go bigger. So I dropped 120 on custom footbeds and now they fit so exact, and I could live in my boots. I have a high arch so I 1) had no instep support, giving me high ankle pain, and 2) my foot was spreading out and jamming my toes. Arch support is oddly under-addressed and underrated. My skiing literally improved because I have far better power and control over my inside edges. However, the reason I was able to get FT's in the first place was because my foot is narrow

Why would you troll NS? It's a skiing website for people who want legit answers and just wanna have fun...
If you're feeling like a dick, take it out on the faggots at 4chan, leave NS out of it.
