Full tilts vs. Il Moro

So i could get a pair of older full tilts for $200, needless to say they're pretty worn out. They're 27.5

..now i could also get a pair of last years Il Moros with intuition liners that're hardly ever worn (no heat treating yet etc.) And they're 26.5 which i could squeeze into if i get them heat treated. Thhese are$ 250 but i would also have to re mount so another $50 bringing the difference to approxi. $100. Difference.

...is it worth it? Ill get pics up of the difference in condition etc. Later today

Thanks! :)

well my bindings are mounted for a 28 spk and im currently using a 27 spk so the bindings have been adjusted as much as possible down to a 316mm. the full tilts are 310 or 311 and the Il Moros are 306... so i guess either way my bindings will have to be remounted

yeah but my binding is already slid forward to the max, it was mounted for a size 28 spk so its not a "little" difference...

np so whats your opinion? Il Moros worth extra $50? they're a tight squeeze though, i wear a size 10 shoe... but intuition liners were meant to be a tight squeeze i guess+ most of my foot is from my freakishly long toes, hahah

I am biased toward FT because I own them, but honestly my shop worked wonders with heat molding, so I'm sure you can do similar. I would go FT if the outer plastic on the toe and heel isn't too worn down

i wouldnt recommend the ft's unless you can get new liners for them. they'll be to packed out to mold to your feet again and will completely defeat the purpose of intuition liners. if the dalbellos fit well, id get those. but a 28 spk to 26.5 ill moro is i huge size jump..

that would be a huge size jump. however, the bindings being set for a 28 spk is actually from the guy before me, i use 27 spks so it wouldnt be too big of a size jump with either of these boots but both would require a binding remount as the bindings will only adjust one size (in other words down to a size 27 spk) which has a 316 bsl, and these boots are 310 and 306... i would eject

so i guess the verdicts Il Moros so i have nice new liners? ps how much would it cost to get the heated to my foot (ive never had it done before but im sure some shops do it)

both fit fine, the Il Moros just need to be heat treated/ packed out cause they've barely been used so i'd suffocate (i have a size 10 shoe)

I've recently been doing research and fitting for both of these boots. The Il Moro seems superior boot by a long shot.

YES!!!! haha I definitly like the Il Moro way more I just hope i'll be able to fit a 26.5...I guess the heat treatment can fix that
