i know full tilts has been a company for a while but recently-ish changed its name to full tilts (right?)
what was its old name??
just wondering,...

they are a newer company owned by k2, but they use the old molds that the Rachie (sp?) boots were made in the 90's.

Raichle.I met a guy at Vail who had some, and he had been using the same boots since the 80s, and swears by them.

"That's why his father lectured Wallisch about getting good grades once he moved to Salt Lake City from his home in Pittsburgh four years ago to attend Utah, not coincidentally because of all the ski resorts nearby."

The original company was Raichle, Full Tilt uses the original Raichle molds with a few finishing changes.

Sometimes I see grandpa skiers at Sunday River with the Raiche Flexons. I think they're full tilts everytime until I see "Raiche" on the boot.

In my opinion reichles(sp?) don't look at all like fulltilts.

Also didn't Line have the molds for like 2 seasons

Yeah, these look nothing like tilts.

For real. About the only thing they have changed is color schemes.

Hahahaha. I'm getting slow in my old age. That was hilarious. Completely missed that one. ....And his name is fried rice!!!! Only thing missing was the owl.

line never owned them, they had a renamed raichle boot-it was called the line transfer.

i rode up with a woman on a charlift and i was very confused my her boots because on the main part of the boot there was the "FT" full tilt puts on their boots and on the tongue thing there was the "RR" that raichle put on their boots so i asked the woman and she told me that she put her old raichle liner and tongue thing that she said was about 25 years old into a new full tilt shell of the boot that was about 3 years old. this shows perfectly that full tilt hasn't changed a single thing in the mold. i thought it was interesting.

Is this inventor of the screamin semen named Chris Semen? I am not sure about the spelling of semen as far as the guys last name but am I wrong about his name being Chris?

I own and use a pair of Raichle Flexons. Best boots I have ever owned, I felt unbelievable in them all season. that being said, they literally do nothing to keep water out. haha i used duct tape over the leeaky spots and plastic bags over the liners and my feet still sometimes got wet. of course, foot warmers made the water less of a problem (my feet stayed warm), and the comfort is worth the hassle. that being said, FT's (which I have never tried) are probably just waterproof Flexons, with higher quality buckles and better liners. Still... Flexons forever!

Full Tilts old name is Raichle my dad has sworn by them since the mid 70's. The went out of business in the late 90's then came back for two years in which my dad bought the last raichle model. About 3-4 years after Dalbelo bought the patent from raichle. A group of people now known as full tilt wanted the original design for the boots and thats how fulltilt came about.

I bought a pair or Raichlies at a goodwill for parts for my FTs. $10 and I have extra direct matching buckles, cables, cant plates, heals etc... and they are hot pink. Score
