Full Tilts Hurt My Feet

I tried on my friends Red full tilts today, coming from Dalbellos, and at first they felt alright, with a little pressure on my shins. I rode up with them and ski'd down, feeling like a bird. I got about 2 runs in and then on the way up, an excruciating stinging pain began in my feet. It started on the outsides of my arches, and then moved to the middle, it felt very internal, like a there was pressure on a nerve or something, I ran inside and had to take them off, the pain was relieved only a few minutes later. My friend was saying that you get used to them, but there is no way i could have taken one more run. Kinda bumbed that they don't fit me, I was reallly looking foreward to buying some next season. Any ideas to change the boot in any way? Or get rid of any arch support in them, because i am flat footed, or is there any knowledge of a wider model coming out? something that doesnt put pressure on you arches?

full tilts obviously odn't fit you

stop sucking full tilts dick and don't buy them if they don't fit you

simple.

If full tilts dont fit your feet them you will have to quit skiing.

Seriously though, theres a wider model based on the original mold coming out (or is it already, teh red ones may be) and an even wider boot, entirely new shell coming out next season, forget what its called.

Maybe FT's arent the boot for you, they are only for pro's and unicorns, otherwise they wont fit your foot

get off full tilts dick and go to a boot fitter. Buy the boot that fits you, not the ones that tammy wallnuts ride

it may just have been because of how your friend's foot and your foot differed. Full tilts fit me like a glove, but when I first tried them on the pain was excruciating after about 10 mins.
Go to a boot fitter. There's a chance they fit, but there's a chance they don't. If they don't fit, there's not much you can do, it's pretty hard and time consuming to modify boot shells. Your flat feet may just be the problem though.
everyone who says "stop sucking full tilt dick" can blow it out their ass. They are pretty much the best boots on the market for our type of skiing, so it is certainly a bummer if you are stoked on how they work and then they don't fit. He was asking for advice.

It takes a while to get used to Full Tilt's. Especially if there not molded to your foot. Heat molding helps a lot. If Dalbello's fit you then Full Tilt's should also. There is a chance that they don't though. I just switched from Full Tilt to Dalbello cause that's what i got fitted for. I like them a lot

no, that can't be it, he just won't accept it cuz he had his heart set on getting them next year

Yup he probably likes the colors a lot too! I forget what model are the red ones, like the bratwurst?

idiot, it hurt coz its not fitted to your foot.

mine hurt like hell in the smae places for like 4 days til the liner packed out in that spot now its awesome.

Blatantly false.

OP:

This is why we have intuition liners.

Get a mother fucking boot fit.

If your friend had his fit your foot clearly isn't gonna be the same shape as his so obviously the boot isn't gonna fit perfect. And anyone that does get a boot fit is gonna have their feet hurt for a few days of riding just because you have to adjust.

This actually happens to me sometimes, and i did see a really great boot fitter, and i will feel like the out side of my feet hurts just how you described, and the reason might be that your boots are too tight. When ever I put my boots on i ski to the chair lift with all the buckles un done and when i get to the top i make them some what snug but not to much, and later in the day il tighten them alot. It works good.

Fet next yrs full tilts they r wider I believe 102 or 105 something like that instead of 96 or if you get them heat mold then that's what I did after a week they felt like I had nothing on incredible boot !

this years (2010) booters and hotdoggers are already wider in last.

they used to use the same last with just a thinner liner but not theyve widened it to about 101mm

was just told this by porters dude who was told this by full tilt rep. you can go on their live chat and ask right now if you like

I was fitted for dalbello rampages but I had a weird pressure point right under the bottom buckle so I took a chance and ordered fts. They felt great when I first tried them on but then hurt on the outside of my arch for like 10 days of riding after I had them molded. They're fantastic now and feel better than I thought ski boots could. So to the OP you could probably ride them comfortably if they were molded to your feet and you gave them time to pack out a little bit. They still might not be the best boot for you though.

well t depends HOW wide. yes they are customizable to a certain extent (intuition liners) but if you have an overly wide foot, it will still be quite the squeeze.

the new shells aparently suck dick, not at all like now, this years booters and h-doggers have a 2mm thinner liner.

to the OP Full Tilts are for narrow feet if they don't fit too bad get another boot
