Full Tilt Shin Bang?

I switched to full tilt to get away from shin bang... but now I get it more than ever when hitting jumps!

I'm riding the b and e full tilt.

Anyone else have this problem or suggestions?

99% chance you are either landing really backseat, or your boots dont fit.

solutions: go to a bootfitter and get boots that actually fit you, or stop landing so backseat

After my linr packed out i started to get really bad shinbang so i put plastic shopping bags under the foot bed to keep my heel from moving around alot. Havn't gotten shinbang since.

Where did you put the bags? Under the liner inserts? Or under the black plastic piece?

My buddy had the same problem with the same boot.

One thing some people have told me is to shave your legs at the front (or everywhere) it supposedly helps alot. Cannot say for myself though.

Other than that, get boot fitted properly.

There shouldn't be any gap between your liner and your shin/calf. Ski for a bit , then tighten your top strap more. Helps a lot.

How have you guys not figured out yet that you need to get properly fitted or you WILL have a bad time.

Sorry, but this is such a randomly bad idea.

OP, you want to make sure you are 1) in the right size boot and 2) have been properly fitted for said boot and 3) need to get a supportive footbed. Only doing these 3 things will you ensure that your problem goes away and stays away.

Also for the future, we have this super handy dandy thread which helps solve fit-related issues in your boots:

Yep, I was about to say all the other suggestions in this thread are horrible. Do what he says... its the only thing that ever made a difference for me. Well, that and learning to stay forwards in my boots and pop when I hit jumps. Even if you boot fits perfect if you land backseat you will still get shinbang.

get bots that fit.... Full titls look sick not gonna lie but when it comes to their fit, its not for everyone
