Full tilt problem?

k so i used the searchbar for this and could not find any threads dealing with this problem.

i just picked up some full tilt booters from my local shop and i love them but i have only skied on them for seven days and the middle buckle on my right foot snapped off, now i paid good money for these and i really dont want my buckles continuously breaking has anybody else had this problem and why the hell would full tilt not put stronger ( not plastic) buckles on a park boot that is almost deffinetly gona suffer abuse
 
This is a common problem among full tilt boots. That is why on some of the new 2010 models they put metal buckles on. You can buy replacement metal ones to prevent further breaks.
