Full Tilt or Dalbello?

I've been looking into new boots for a while and very much like the look of the Full Tilt Hot Doggers and Dalbello Il Moros. What are the boots like in comparison? Is there a reason why the Il Moro T is so much more expensive (apart from sick looks obviously)?

I weigh around 70kg (150lbs) and ski park 90% of the time.

That's the problem, I can't try them on as I have no boot fitter near me that stocks either boot...
 
thats ok. you don't need a freestyle boot to ski. I don't use one, and tons of kids on NS don't either. I ski NJ and do park, urban, and whatever else and my boots are fine. They're just normal boots.

 
Dalbello's have better buckels and materials and are meant for regular/wider feet and are alot more versatile. The parts if you do break anything can be easily fixed with generic snowboard/ski gear (You have to get special parts ordered most of the time for FT's) also they come with 2 tongues (soft and mid stiff). I beleive both of them have heat mold able liners. Fulltilts are a little bit lighter and easier to get in and out of and are cheaper then the Il Moro's and are made out of alot of plastic. The Full Tilts fit generically speaking is for regular/skinier feet.
 
I love my rampages. Best boot I have ever had, easy to get on, comfy as a sneaker. Couldn't ask for anything more.
 
Um you should definitely try to find a place wear you can try them on. Or at least go to your shop and see what last width is the best for your feet.

I tried dalbello rampages on and they were way to narrow.

Booters fit me fine since fultilt made them wider this year.

P.S. Don't buy boots based on looks.
 
That is the worst generalization that I have seen.

Dalbello makes boots with all different lasts, as does full tilt. The best thing for you to do is to find out the width of your foot and then buy boots accordingly. That is if you do not have an oppurtunity to try freestyle specific boots on.
 
yeah that guy is retarded. FT has great customer service and if you ever break something its as easy as going to their site and ordering parts from their "parts" section
 
yep, dont settle with what the shop is offering. The only way to change is to demand that they carry a wider array of boots. 3 Piece boots (dalbello, FT, ect) are a great, equal or better alternative. PS: go with FT, our natural flex, cable system and VERY light weight boot is superior. It's the original. Thanks!
 
I tried some dalbellos in 28,5 but the were just a little to big. But now i have Full Tilt Hot Doggers in 28,5 and they fit like a dream.
 
Go with FullTilts. I have tried both Dalbello and FT and FTs fit better everyone I know. It just unbelivable how great are HotDoggers - if not my parents shouting at me I'd wear them even in home.
 
I've now tried on both dalbello's and full tilts and I can't decide which ones I liked better. I think the dalbello's fit a little better but I like the flex on the booters. Maybe If I tried the tom wallisch ones.
 
Alright, thanks for the feedback everyone (even if some are "full of bullshit"). I know that my feet are very narrow but it seems as though the only real way to choose is to feel what they're like on your foot.. This could get tricky.
 
I found when I was trying on boots that the dalbello boots are a lot tighter on the top of your foot. (arch?) But I agree, the best way is try some on. But keep in mind i don't own either of these boots
 
i just picked up a pair of full tilts tonight so i have not had time to ski in them but they were love at first site, they felt amazing and conformd mto my feet well i would go try them on, also full tilts are sold out in alot of sizes beware
