Is everything the same other than the color? Just by looking at pics the model a looks like a different buckle and has less toe room. Is the liner still moldable? Is the tongue the same flex?
yea the liners are different , correct me if im wrong but i think that the liner in the booter is the cheapest of full tilt boots , i still think it's a sick boots and considering buying some.
model A's are sick boots. I just bought a pair this summer and they are light and fit nicely (i like the fact that they liners have wrap tongues rather than traditional). I paid extra to swap the standard liner with a different one (i forget the name but its a little stiffer and comfier). All liners can be cooked and molded to your foot, just ask at your local place.
thanks for everyones input. I have never skied wrap liners before, do they pinch at all or is it pretty much the same deal only with more shin bang protection?
well since i havent actually ridden them yet (although i do wear them around the house sometimes) i cant say for sure but from what i hear its just extra shin bang protection. havent heard of them pinching
i have model a's. they are comfy. my only complaint is that sometimes the liner digs into my shin cause it wraps around and stops there. its only in my right boot though so i doubt it is a common problem. they are amazing to get heat molded though. perfect fit
can someone with a new set of full tilts tell me how the shoe size compares with the shell size? i know i need a 25 shell, but i'm trying to buy online from a website that only lists them by shoe size. so i need to know if a size 7US shoe is a 25 fulltilt. can someone with a new pair look at the little sticker and check for me? thanks!
i wear a 9.5 street shoe and i got 27 model a's. they fit good. i could easily wear a 9.0 street shoe though so i would go to say they are accurate in their sizing
^ok that's legit, good to know. the thing is i've already tried a 25 and i know it's my size. i just need to know what US size that officially corresponds to, according to full tilt. it should say on the little sticker on the boots when you buy them new.
Would a Sport Chalet mold the lining for you or would you have to go to a proper shop? I'm probably getting Model A's as they are one of the only boots at outlet prices right now that I have found in my size. (30-31)
