Full Tilt High Fives

so i went to a bootfitter the other day and tried on a load of boots, came out with these ones fitting the best. Its the horrifically ugly one from last year in brown/beige colorscheme so how it looks is definately not part of it. The shop/full tilt has run out of hot doggers in my size so i had to settle for these.

just wondering what peoples opinions are of this in the park. i know its got a rigid bootboard - can you change that for an active one?

Havent actually skiied in it yet but from wearing it, the ankle hold is AWESOME, heel pocket is so snug and there is perfect toe room to wiggle just a bit. Also have foot inserts in there because my feet have high arches and pronate when i flex forward.

tl;dr: Got these boots the other day, what are general opinons on it.

Note: It is last years one, so the standard 98mm last. Was great news to know that my feet fit in full tilts though, just wish i had gone earlier so i could have got hot doggers!

If it fits your foot the best get it. It doesn't matter what other people say because they have different feet.

If last years High five had the 6 flex tounge like the wallish does, then you have the exact same boot as the wallish, just a different colourway. Both have the same 98mm mold

It is last years and does have the 6 flex tongue, but it has a rigid bootboard instead of the active, shock absorbing one which i dont know how much it makes a difference.
regardless, im hitting the slopes with them tomorrow so ill report back with how nice they are.
