Full Tilt Classics

Hey guys, couldn't find another thread on these boots so here it is.

Friend of mine wants Full Tilts but is strapped for cash, so is considering the Classics instead of the HotDoggers. However, he's concerned about the lack of "Active Bootboard" on the classics.

For those of you that have ridden these in the park, does that Rigid Bootboard rape you're feet when you go too deep on 40-60 footers?

Thanks for the feedback, as always +k for helpful info.

I haven't hit huge booters with my Classics, but have taken some pretty stomped landings on them and have found them fine.

If I remember correctly, someone said the board in the Classics can give a better feel to the slope compared to the board in the 'Doggers. I guess it's just down to personal preference though...

He should just get the Classics then, the active boot board is nice, but not necessary. If he decides that he eventually needs the active boot board, he can order it from Full Tilt (it's "not available" right now, but should be when the season gets closer.
