super stoked I Just got some 2012 classics. I put them on though and they are super tight around my calf, making them super sore. Anyone else have this problem? tips? Im flying out to Woodward @ Copper next week for session 2 so i gotta break em in before then. +k for something that works/ good advice

go get fitted, there's a big chance that you do not have the right foot / calves for full tilts

New boots need to be worked in and in some cases you need to get work done. Wear them a lot and have them super tight for a while and then loosen them. Play around with all of the setting you can. Did you have this feeling when you were trying them on or did this come later?

The top of the liner dies not have any heat mold foam so it won't get that much better by just wearing them. Over along time it will soften up eventually but it will take time. There are a few things you can do though. If you have room over the instep you could try adding a heel lift. I'm guessing you ha e not got a footbed, this could help lift the heel too. Basically by raising the back of your foot you move the calf up out if the boot. However you are changing your balance point so its not ideal. You could also get the calf of the boot stretched but unfortunately that does not work to well on full tilts due to the cable system. Overall your beat bet is to go get them fitted. If you got them from a shop take them back and speak to a better fitter there. If you got them online, well you got to just hope they sort if fit or you may be best off sending them back if you can and start again.

Let me know if you have any fitting questions.

They don't fit boots on the Internet.

This is why you pay $30 more to get them from your local shop. They know what's up. I guarantee they would have been on your feet for more than 5 minutes.

I have the same issue, I've tried the booter, hot dogger and drop kicks, drop kicks almost worked, but they all feel like they're made for people with chicken leg calves,

and this is why we have several great companies that make a variety of freestyle oriented boots, so everyone can have a great fit!

Even though you bought them on the internet you can still go to a shop and have them molded it just may cost some money. I havent had this problem because my feet are a pretty stereotypical shape so most boots fit out of the box. My mom went into a shop and got hers fitted and i think it was like 30 bucks
