Full tilt boots

i'm looking to get some new boots, and i think i'm gonna go for full tilt cause they offer alot of versatility, the heat molding is pretty sweet, and if seth morrison and tom wallisch ride them they must work. i've been looking around for some cheaper places to get them, than the store and have a couple questions, 1--whats the differents between the bumble bee pro (last year) and the classic (this year). and whats the difference between those and the konflict, cause all have interchangeable tongues, so aside from stiffness. i do mainly off piste, bumbs and all mountain, but i don't compete, and i want to get into the park, but don't do it much. which one of their boots would suit that need best... they all look sick. i do like a stiffer flex, but since they're interchangeable it doesn't matter that much i guess, i've been mainly looking at the konflict, and classic/bumblebee.

try going on fulltilt and look under contact and email them. ive done it plently of times with random questions and they should have the answer to u in a day or 2

do u wanna get full tilt because pros wear them if so wow your stupid. I wanted to get spk and i went to a stor and got them fitted and they just dont fit me feet so didnt get them

All FTs have the same shell (98mm wide) so the only things to change from model to model are the boot board (rubber or firm plastic), the liner, and the tongue. Last year's BB Pro (Pro Liner, #6 Tongue, rubber boot board) is pretty much this year's Classic (Pro Liner, #6 tongue, firm plastic boot board). The Konflict has a stiffer, denser liner than the Classic, a rubber boot board, and a #8 tongue.

go with the konflict. It has a rubber boot board. Also go to a boot fitter and try them on. Make sure they know their stuff. NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER ORDER A PAIR OF BOOTS ONLINE WITHOUT TRYING THE EXACT MODEL IN A SIMILAR SIZE AT A STORE. Its ok if you need a half size bigger or smaller and they don't have it at the store your at. But never guess when it comes to boots. I have lange 8o flexes that no pros use but theyre comfy and they fit really well and they suit my style.

i'm tired of people saying that. some people dont even have legit bootfitters. i guarantee you didnt get your boots from a bootfitter.

bootfitters are looking to sell boots. all they do is custom mold them, which is just heating them up, then wearing them with a toe cap for 5 minutes so they mold to your foot.

i got the classics and theyre perfect the only difference with them compared to booters and hotdoggers is they are a bit stiffer, and they dont have as much shock absorb in the heel as the booters. theyre still pimp as fuck and cant go wrong.

thanks, no i don't want them just because pros use them. i've skied on plenty of good boots that the pros use, however, i don't have the money to pay 600-700$ for a boot fitter to give me whatever i want, and some of the full tilt features look really nice. what i'll probably do is try them on in a store somewhere and make sure they fit then get them online... i'm not gonna make the mistake of guessing tho. i know how dumb that is.

^ good idea i would say bumble bees sound perfect for your needs. Classics have a different kind of tongue. It's a duel density tongue- soft center flex zone surrounded by stiffer material for a forgiving forward flex with rigid lateral support

I skied salomon spks for 2 years I recently switched over to the fulltilt booter. They felt great in the store not too narrow.. I wore them skiing a few times and my feet started to hurt while doing rails and such.. After a while they packed out and now there great!

my reccomendation is a #6 tongue. it is definitely stiff enough for all mountain, but not so stiff that it kills you in the park.

also, if you get fulltilts, GET THEM MOLDED. once i got mine molded, the difference was night and day. it's worth it 100 times over to just have them molded!

ok well i did go to a boot fitter and got fitted for boots. and its by far the best suggestion on these forums

im tired of people asking these questions. get the boot that fits right, and if you dont know what fits, get someone who does. dont get the frekain boot because the pros wear it, or because half of this site wears it, or because they look cool. get them because they FIT YOU correctly and will be the best boot for what you need.

i gurantee that i fucking drove up to hidden valley and got my fuckin full tilts at a boot fitter douchebag! oh and maybe if they would call around like i did and find some shops that carry good boots and not just go with one brand and actually with a boot that fits there foot, then they wouldnt run into this problem but NO you have to go and assume things asshole
