Just a few questions; are these boots any good?

ive heard there not so good if you have wider feet?

is the flex to soft for freeride?

cheers...

The boots are good. The boot has a narrow last (widest point) of 98mm, an SPK is 106mm for comparison. But with intuition liner is capable of a greather variance than other stock liners/boots.The flex can be altered by replacing the tongues. So you can fully customize the flex.

Thats pretty much what you need to know haha
I got mine last week and they're sick. High Fives. They're really light and flexy. Comfy aswell and i don't find them too tight either.

Anybody know what the flex of the Bumble Bee pro and the Hot Dogger would compare too? I'm looking into getting some of these but don't want a boot thats too soft.

i just picked up hotdoggers and they are epic. if your someone like me and there isnt a place within like 3 hrs of your house to try them on go to a good bootfitter and he should be able to give u some boots that will have a similar fit to a full tilt. then i ordered them off untracked.com because if they arent the right size you can return them and they will ship you a different size. they feel really good, especially after you heat mold the liner and there are so many little tweaks you can make to them its awesome.

flex on the bb is a 6 and the hd a 4.

If you want a stiff one, you need the get the pro athlete tongues (9), they are orange and definitely stiffer

I know but a number doesn't really do a justice for me. Like my salomon boots right now have a flex of 80, and I want something a bit softer. I feel like hot doggers with just the normal tongue (or whatever) would be wayy to soft.

the thing with Full tilt is that its a PROGRESSIVE flex. This means its smooth and all the flex doesnt come at one point and then there is no flex. Boots over time become stiffer, so if you have an old salomon boot it probably doesnt have a smooth flex and is stiffer now than that 80 flex rating when compared with new salomon boots.

Bottom line, its not the fact that their super soft that makes full tilts the full tits, its the fact that the flex is progressive, not impeded by buckles and with the extra comfy liner.

The hotdogger no 4 tongue would be a similar flex to a 90 salomon flex. The booter comes with a no 2 tongue which is obviously softer. Dont sweat it though as you can buy different tongues anyway. for instance spring skiing (boots are warmer, more flex).
