Full tilt boots?

aka flexon comps? best ski boot ever made if they haven't changed it from the raichle design and you have a narrow foot

agreed, boot is sick. if u liked the krypton, its ridiculously similar. plus, full tilt is now a division of k2 so their quality should be pretty good

a lot of pros still rock their flexons, glenn plake, seth morrison, a few racers hunt for parts for their beat to hell original flexons.

glen plake won't ski anything other than flexons and now full tilts

dunno any mainstream ones that do though

hahahah yes! try seth morrison, anthony boronowski, scott schmidt and these pros are checking them out...Phil Belanger, Bryce Phillips, JP Auclair, Julien Regnier, Kristi Richards, Jaime Pierre, Tony Rossi, Eric Pollard, Chris Booth, Jeff Berman, Zack Giffin and Mike Wilson. so yeah.

I wear flexons and totally love them. They came with heat moldable liners and are for sure the lightest boot on the market. I would be careful if you are a super aggressive skier because they are a relativley soft boot. The only complaint I have about mine is that the buckles are prone to breaking and theres this little cap/hinge thing on the side of the boot that comes undone and falls off from time to time. Overall though in my opinion its the best boot ever.

they look to me like the perfect blend of performance and comfort and if i could find them for cheap i would buy them however they are very pricey where ive seen them.

i don't know about that, they look like robot boots made of cheap plastic, i do know that they are quality boots though. i just chose dalbello krypton pros instead

if Seth was using a production model last season (anyone confirm this? I thought he still uses Flexons) then you know it is going to stand up.

they are super light, feels like nothing on your feet which actually takes some time to get used to. once they pack out they arent too narrow, the liner is super comfy. you can also get customizable flexes too.

those are snowboard boots but thanks for coming out!

lots of bump skiers use the flexons. if i could get a decent deal on a pair of full tilts and they fit right i would pick up a pair in a second. the whole idea just makes sense

cause k2 own line, and full tilt are a division of k2 they'll be hooking team up. but i dont think til next year. so boo

i have some old raichles, whitch are super light and comfy, the fulltilts seemed kinda heavy to me, and expensive.

i'm so psyched that i just picked up a pair of flexon comps for 50 bucks with an extra brand new heat moldable liner. i'm looking forward to experiencing the craze myself

I used a pair of Tilts this season (rental has them at Perisher) and they were awesome!

Best fit I have had with any boot so far

Absolutely not my friend.

Sure, Dalbellos and flexons have a last that is about 98.. or 99 depending... but with that said, there is a way to make them fit you.

The reason Flexons and Dalbellos kryptons are so good is because they are like taking a plug boot from racing, with all of its stiffness and absolutely insane responsiveness, and making it into a 3 piece boot, so it can flex a little bit, still hold that rigidity, and allow for some comfort as well.

Now, if you know anything about plug boots... you will know that the plastic is INSANELY thick. ussually close to a centimeter thick. a flexon or krypton is the same kinda thing.. just maybe not really as thick. close though.

This means that if you take it to your local bootfitter, and if they have the tools to do so, they can actually drill out about 2 to 4 millimeters out of the shell in the toebox to make it fit you. Also, the tounge can be refitted to fit the way your arch goes, and so on. the boot is thick enough in the shell, that even taking out 4 millimeters in the toebox would not hamper your overall performance, and would not make the boot any less stiff. they would still be half a cm thick by that point, and plenty capable of holding the same rigidity, or at least similar rigidity.

They are one of the most customizable, and incredble boots on the market. I'm thinking about getting some this year (either that or just getting some superchargers.. which already fit me, and are still plenty good being inject mold boots)

But yes, that is the story of these boots.

K2 doesnt even make boots...

and yeah, hes been with K2 for years... as well as Dalbello. Hes like their main spokesman (the idea for the kryptons was partially made by him)

Flexons and Full Tilt Boots kick fucking ass. Make sure to get a stiffer tongue if you ski pretty hard.

Since

the word got out, the phone has been ringing off the hook. This boot

obviously has versatility like no other, based on the variety of pros

calling us.

Boots have already been requested by, and are shipping right now to these pros:

- Anthony Boronowski (Newschool backcountry freestyle)

- Scott Schmidt (Extreme adventure skiing legend)

- Jeret (Speedy) Peterson (2 time Olympic aerialist)

No one walked by without stopping, including some of the today’s top

pros. We brought tons of boots in every size so everyone could try them

on. Rob, The Boot Guy spent every minute of the day from opening to

close fitting dealers and athletes, we kept him alive on Red Bull. It

was ridiculous how many pros had already heard about what we were doing

and insisted on us sending them a pair to try. Boots are in the UPS

truck now to: Phil Belanger, Bryce Phillips, JP Auclair, Julien

Regnier, Kristi Richards, Jaime Pierre, Tony Rossi, Eric Pollard, Chris

Booth, Jeff Berman, Zack Giffin and Mike Wilson".

"Seth Morrison: Crested Butte, CO

I could not be any more stoked that they are back. I thought once I ran out of boots I would have to retire from skiing".

I love the performance of my Kryptons. It wouldn't hurt to have the toe and forefoot area widened just a TINY bit though as it's a touch too tight.

It says that he insisted on FT sending them a pair. Not that he rocks them everyday. I don't think that the website would just make it up. I am sure he did want a pair.

Any idea how much room there is to blow out in the middle of the foot? My feet are wide in the middle (fore?) foot.

I'm trying to find a shop in Calgary that stocks them so I can see if they will work.

yea those are the same boots i got too, for 50 bucks in almost new condition with an extra set of new liners
