Full tilt boots vs Salomon Boots.

yes it is lighter because they are mostly plastic( buckles and such) and i'M not sure why else it is lighter but Salomon's are wider too so if your feet are wide, then do not buy FT

IF one of those fit you extremely well than the other one probably doesn't. go try them on, or get a boot that you can try on. doesn't matter if it's a park boot or not.

Hahahahahahahaha, what the fuck type of advice is that, the mods should put a lock on ur profile to keep u from posting in gear talk

I had spk's this year and they fit good until they packed out like crazy and i had to wear two or threee pairs of socks.

then you had a boot that wasn't sized properly. a properly fitted boot shouldn't be completely comfortable when you first put it on or on your first day skiing.

Seriously, not an other one of these threads, just like every other member on this site will say, go to a boot fitter. don't just buy full tilts or Salomon's because of their rep, i mean sure they are both great boots but they are in no way similar to each other. Find out what boot is best for you and then buy that said boot.

No seriously....spks pack out ultra quick and way too much....alot of people here say that....ya can't make me believe they all just bought the wrong size boot.

I'm not just talking specifically park boots. Generally with Salomon, the more expensive the boot, the narrower the last.

I ski park in a 98mm last Salomon Falcon 9 boot. I was just challenging the broad generalization that someone made regarding Salomon boots. Any boot can be taken in the park, and many people on here do not ski "park boots" in the park. It's whatever. Kids on here will buy any trendy boot to fit in......pun intended.

Do you know if it would be possible to get a SPK boots in 31-31.5 ? Or a full tilt boots in size 32 ?

I actually wear some 31 cm boots.. not park boots and i paid 450$ for those because i can't find some in the two biggest city of my province, which is Quebec and Montreal but know they are a little small and they cause me shinbang and other shit..

So i would like to know if you think it would be possible to get a custom boots at my size.. or some old full tilt.. liek the Raichle boots.

If you are truly a size 31 shell, wear the correct 31 shell. Do not upsize to a 32 FT because it has a narrower fit. Always buy what fits your foot, no matter what the marketing is behind the boot. The boot that fits your foot and has a flex that matches what you need will be the best boot for you.

With that said, SPK does not come larger than 29.5 and FT Original goes up to 31.5.

bootfitter like whats been said haha but i used to ski in a falcon 9 like whoever said that earlier and its because i have narrow feet and then i got fitted for fulltilts and it just so happened they fit right. When i try them on at my house they are really tight and almost uncomfortable so i know that i was fit right and after skiing in them for a couple days they will be sex. my ns mobile doesnt let me quote reply so i apologize for the randomness of this post. thats all have a good day

I kinda agree with this. Ive got spks and for the first couple of weeks they were tight as a nuns fanny but by about a month and a half they packed out and there were just perfect. Im so glad and saw a legit bootfitter and he got me sorted with a perfect fitting boot.

Didn't work that way for me...mine were nice and tight and perfect but after a few times out they felt like they were a size too big and got worse from there....maybe they were too big and I need to make sure my toes are smashed and crumpled up in there when I first buy boots I dunno...
