im torn between the 2, which one has more flex, the ski shop that i us only has the high fives and konflict

i want to irradicate shin bang and both claim to do so, but i dont want a super stiff boot like the high fives witht the tounge on

+++karma for help

why just full tilt? have you checked out any other brands (dalbello/tecnica/rossi/head/salomon)?

go to a boot fitter man, its worth it

Get the konflict, it has the best liner ever and you canget the 4 flex toungue and they will be money!

I sure like em, and shin bang doesnt happen if your boots fit properly. oh and try to not over shoot anything by 30 or 40 feet, then nothing willhelp.

Hey man, sounds like your in a similar sit to me.
I was getting terrible shin bang at the end of last season so i did a lot of research into it and went to get fitted up for new boots today.I'm a narrow, low volume foot so thought i'd try some Full Tilts because everyone says they work miracles. They felt like wellies on me, no way are they a genuine 98 last, but they are a lovely boot if they fit you. Go for the 09 Konflict because you get a soft and a stiff tongue with them, the rest are effectively the same boot but with different tongues and you can always buy parts and spares for the full tilts too.
As it happened they just didn't fit me so I was left with 2 other attractive options.
Lange InfernoSalomon Ghost
Ended up with the ghost because it just fits me perfectly but the Lange Inferno is something to look at. They have gone to town on that tongue to cut out shin bang, it is MASSIVE and full of gel and has shock absorbing pads on it that take the pressure slightly off the very front of your shin.
Can't wait to ski my Ghosts, they feel lovely! Lace up liner, gel padded tongue, shock absorbing soles, massive power strap. Such a huge improvement over my last boots the Guns, which are pretty much the same shell.

im also wondering about that i tried on some technica agent 90s and they are soo nice but the booter and the hot doggers are also sick what do you guys think would go better with afterbangs?

i just got a pair of hotdoggers and they are plenty soft, they have the higher performance boot board, liner, and the booters are way too soft for people ive heard, you can always get a new tounge i guese, and the booters are better for wider feet because of the thin liner

I have had both the hot dogger and the booter and personally i liked the booter better because it is softer. If your a light person and dont hit huge jumps and like softer boots then go with the booter. If your heavier and hit bigger jumps and want a stiffer boot go with the hot dogger. Oh ya and the liner matters for flex also. The hot dogger has thicker liner wich = stiffer

Also take a look at the salomon Shogun (softer version of the Ghost) and the Dalbello Il moro (more $$$ though).

You can always buy a no.4 tongue (what comes in the booter) from a Full Tilt Dealer. Id go Knoflict + soft tongue or the Hot doggers as both have better liners which wont pack out as much and will hold your heel down better.

Are you kidding me?? You don't even see them. You buying boots to go skiing in, not to go to a fucking fashion show.

What happened when skiing was about how you ski not what you wear.
