Full Tilt Booters Heel Pain

I resently bought a pair of the new full tilt booters. when i put them on they felt amazing compared to my old boots that were too small.

I then took a trip up to maine skiing. The first couple hours of skiing they felt fine, but slowly my heel and a couple inches just above my heel then started to hurt. i looked into it that night and there are 2 metal circles on each side of the boot around my achilles.

so, i figured i would ask if anyone has had this problem before and if anyone knows a solution.

did you mold the liners?

generally a rivet won't fuck you up through the liner but sometimes they can be horrible to deal with

hmmm how long have you been riding em?i got some new liners in my boots and they killed my heels the first few days riding em. i hiked a bunch let the liners break in a little and after a few days the pain stopped

their not too big cause my old boots that made my toes black and blue after an hour are the same size. the booters are made slightly bigger, so they fit my foot length wise very well. and i havent had them long i went to skiing in maine for 2 days. then skied at my local mountain for 5. if its just time that will mend this problem then thats great news. otherwise i dont know what to do.

well when the guy fit me, the boot fitter, he said that 29.5 is my boot size and that the booter would be a good fit, because it is made wider. i dont think the boot is too big or he would have said somthing and i would have brought it up that it felt big.

Bump, having the same problem. Got them fitted and they felt sooo amazing! Broke them in and super great, on their 40th day and the heel seems to be hurting me, would it be due to the heel pocket being packed out allowing my heel to lift up to create the pain?

It is damn near impossible to give boot fit related advice over the internet. Go back to your bootfitter and tell them about your problem.
